Lovely to have a lodge in the bush.

Great staff, lovely chalet, quiet and peaceful

While the room was clean and quite big, the mattresses were extremely hard and not comfortable at all. This being said, the electric blankets were a nice touch, and the overall room layout was very nice, especially the outisde shower which was quite a hit with the kid. The staff was very pleasant, the giraffes awesome to stare at, and the breakfast quite hearty, but we honestly found the nightly cost to be quite expensive for what we got.

Such a lovely stay that exceeded our expectations. Comfiest bed of our holiday so far too! Highly recommend the sundowner game drive and dinner, Elton is so knowledgeable abour everything! and he is a natural storyteller. The ostrich tour was fantastic too, Zenith was friendly and informative and you could tell loved the ostriches. Overall just a brilliant stay and all staff we met were helpful and friendly. Amazing views from the property too. Highly recommend staying here.

We were only here 1 night but it was a lovely place and we did a small game drive in the morning and fed the giraffe

The staff were friendly and the tent was verg comfy. We saw lots animals and birds from the porch.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Adorable young giraffe was there, and she liked being hand fed.

Stayed in Klein Karoo- a 2 bedroom log cabin and enjoyed it. Good AC, private and spacious. Restaurant was good and reasonably price - waiter was friendly and quick. Best part was the giraffe feeding which takes places three times a day right from the deck of the restaurant

The actual lodging is very nice. The lodges are all new, nicely done, spacious and have a car port. The rest of the property looks like it's still in the works. There is a giraffe enclosure, ostrich area, and goat pen. It feels like you've been plopped down on a ranch. There's a restaurant too, but we did not go in.

Very welcoming but with the wind we decided that 'Glamping' was not for us.

We could not have breakfast, they were only prepared to serve breakfast from 7:30.

Essen war im Allgemeinen nicht so gut, Sauberkeit war auch nicht in Ordnung, man hat sich nicht getraut auf Kloschüssel zu sitzen. Die ganze Anlage ist herunzergekomen, aber die Sicht und Lage hervorragend! Leider würde ich nicht wieder kommen.

Große Räumlichkeiten, sehr nettes Personal, 1h kostenfreier Game Drive, Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen

Leider nur Durchschnitt. Für den Preis bekommt man in anderen Unterkünften deutlich mehr. Ist zwar ganz nett mit den Giraffen vor Ort. Die Cottages sind relativ abgewöhnt , aus den Duschen kommt nur spärlich Wasser. Das Abendessen , welches man dazu buchen kann , ist leider für die Qualität überteuert. Im Game Drive sieht man außer ein paar Antilopen und Büffeln von der Farmwiese nicht so viel. Am Ende leider zu teuer

Poor service, basic accomodation, disappoint with late check in

We really enjoyed our stay at the Chandelier Lodge which was in a nice location in the Karoo just outside of Oudtshoorn. The staff was also really kind and helpful. We can recommend having dinner there (both vegetarian and with meat) and we loved seeing their two giraffes. Our clean room was nicely decorated and equipped with everything we needed. We would always come back.

Holprige Anfahrt, gut ausgeschildert. Komfortabel ausgestattetes Haus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten im Bad. Möbel für die Terrasse wären schön. Ausgezeichnetes Essen mit Lieferung zum Haus. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Ruhe ist durch Abgeschiedenheit des Hauses garantiert.

Die Zelte sind gut 500 vom Hauptgebäude .Zu erreichen über unbefestigten Weg . PKW ist kein Problem. Nett eingerichtet und sauber. 150€ ein stolzer Preis. Tiere konnten wir nicht beobachten. Im Gatter am Hauptgebäude waren Giraffen und Strausse. Touren konnte man zubuchen. Es ist sehr heiss .. die Klimageräte in den Zelten nahezu wirkungslos. Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut. Personal sehr freundlich.

Leuke game lodge met een aantal wilde dieren op hun terrein waaronder giraffen die ook bij het ontbijtterras langslopen als je geluk hebt. Kamers zijn erg mooi, ruim, schoon, met smaak ingericht en comfortabel. Personeel is erg vriendelijk.
