Room was large but definitely needed a facelift/upgrade (and that was considering we had already received an upgrade from the hotel!). In addition, the hotel only opened the day we arrived after renovations (not flagged in advance by either Hotels,Com or the hotel itself !!!) so limited dining and bar options were available so a bit disappointing.

Luxury accommodations with genuinely nice staff. Solid 10 on the hot water in the shower.

Hotel very welcoming, rooms clean, location excellent, food good, staff helpfull, location quiet.

We arrived late as we had traveled from Donegal, so late check in.I had emailed ahead with room preference. Check in was excellent - we were given choices based n our earlier email.

Very average stay. I hadn't realized the hotel was in such a remote area. Staff weren't very professional but otherwise friendly enough. Would have been nice to have some area in the bar to have a nice quiet relaxing tea/coffee /drink but instead it catered for dining only which gets rather busy and noisy at night and there's nowhere else to dine. The same basic menu for lunch and dinner. Bedroom I was allocated was very small and and bed very uncomfortable, bathroom likewise and there's is nowhere to put your things such as toilet and makeup bags etc. Overall average stay and room for improvement. On the plus side receptionist and doorman very nice and friendly an asset to the establishment. Beautiful, quiet country surroundings if that's what your looking for.
