Tuvimos que pagar “impuestos” que nunca se me dijo que debía pagar. Ojalá se hagan responsables de este gasto que no estaba considerado

The river view from the hotel is gorgeous. The room was really clean and housekeepers were friendly and alert to guests needs. The side of the hotel I was in it’s a bit old. Carpets are old but not a stain on them. Breakfast is included and parking is free.

Good natured staff

El hotel esta bien equipado, limpio, buenas instalaciones , camas buenas , la vista ecelente,, baño limpio y excelentes condiciones, pero la atención de conserje deja mucho que desear , atiende de malos modos ... como si estuviera haciendo su trabajo por obligacion , aparte no esbozo ni una sonrisa. Al solicitar un taxi responde con una broma de mal gusto. En cuanto al desayuno dejo una critica ... platos de carton para el pan y las cosas dulces, cubiertos de madera desechables, envases platicos desechables para el yogurt, el cual es envasado en el hotel me imagino el vaso para jugo es de carton desechable y demasiado pequeño. Esta critica la hago por un tema de que se esta generando basura de mas por gusto. Aparte no es agradable contar alimentos con un cuchillo de madera .... ademas en un hotel de esta categoria es impensable utilizar este tipo de cubiertos. Lo otro a mejora son las toallas de ducha las cuales son chicas y asperas me imagino por que deben tener bastante uso. Ademas solo dejaron una toalla chica en consecuencia que eramos dos personas. Ojala tomen en consideración las criticas para poder evaluarlos en todos los puntos como excelente en una próxim oportunidad!! Lo otro es que al llegar al hotel y hacer el check in nos cobraron el IVA cosa que nunca me había pasado antes reservando con Hoteles.com , en el hotel Diegp de Almagro esto no me ha sucedido nunca.

The property and hotel are a great place to stay. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. lThe actual river walk is on the other side of the river so a 25 min. walk over the bridge is needed if you don’t want to drive and park. The walk is ok, but not pleasant since there is not a continuous sidewalk out of the hotel to get to the bridge. There is a lot of smog in Valdivia so consider that too.

Restaurant services very limited to predefined menus with one or two options at lunch or dinner. The facilities are huge, very good, but there are no bathrooms in the dining area, they do not have heating in corridors and common areas (only rooms) and it is obvious that they are still not receiving enough guests to fully operate. But the costs of the service and the menus remain high for no reason, as well as being good, they have no service at all. I believe that this policy is not helping to reactivate the operations of the hotel.

Great views but location doesn't enable walking about.

Comfortable, spacious rooms with a nice breakfast buffet. Game room with pool tables. I would stay here again.

This hotel is like being in 1980 or 1970 everything is old , NO air conditioning in the room , bed is old furniture are from the 70 to expensive first time in Valdivia but never coming back to this hotel

THE ROOM DID NOT HAVE A COFFE MAKER, WE REQUEST ONE AND THEY BROUGH US HOT WATER WITH INSTANT COFFEE. AND CHARGED 9, 50 USD. BREAKFAST WAS VERY BASIC, IF YOU ASK FOR AN OMELETTE THEY CHARGE YOU 6,34 USD POR EACH ONE. NO FRUIT, NO PLAIN YOGURT THE YACUZZI WAS A BATHTUB FOR ONE PERSON

This property is in an industrial area across the river from town. Getting there is tricky for tourists because making left hand turns is discouraged. Then, although you're on the river, it's right next to a shipyard. It's really only available when they aren't hosting a convention. If not, the price is right and the facilities first class.
