Charming place with gracious hosts and wonderful breakfast.

Spending the night after time in Nelson before ferry ride to Wellington. Perfect location by downtown yet private and quiet cottage. Just perfect

Adorable place. Wonderful and flexible hosts.

This place is cute and tucked away in the small town of Picton. Even though it is a port town for the ferry, it was super quiet. The views were gorgeous and the little cottage style flat was cozy. The only issue being that the sink in the bathroom leaked all night, and there was no fan available, but only a small mark off for those as it wasn't a huge problem. The owner was incredibly nice and hospitable. We would stay in this place again for certain!

A welcoming and lovely spot to stay in Picton. We stayed in the one of the cottages and it was excellent. Very comfortable rooms, very private and had everything we needed. A delicious breakfast too !

Great B&B just off the town centre. Pick up from the late ferry was very useful. Upgraded to cottage was nice and goid service.

No one available to meet us at the property - had to go to a nearby hotel to ring for someone to open up. No wardrobe or facility to hang clothes. No extra blanket. Two conditioners, no shampoo. Yard area very untidy. Lovely breakfast and welcoming glass of wine. Close to town, great location.

Quaint little cottage and within a short walk of everything on offer at Picton

We loved everything about The Gables and have already recommended it to friends and family.

Just minutes from the ferry and bus terminals, I was able to disembark from my ferry and walk to the Gables. My hostess upgraded me from a room in the main house to my own cabin out back and it was beautiful. The Andante Cottage was spotless and everything was new and lovingly care for. I would happily stay there again. My hostess brought a breakfast tray to my room, with more food than I could possibly eat in one sitting. Everything was delicious. As if all that weren't enough, my hostess transported my luggage to her workplace, which was across the street from the bus station, so I could spend the morning exploring the town before collecting my things from her and heading on.

I stayed in the cottage and it was lovely. A delicious breakfast was served at the time I asked. Bed was super comfortable.

Gables B&B was a brief but delightful experience..our host was up very late to greet our arrival as the ferry was delayed..Gables B&B is full of character and charm and would definitely recommend to friends

Room was large and roomy bathroom was separated from the room, central position to the town

Lovely stay at the newly renovated Mariners room. Was welcomed by Eden and provided a tour of the house and offered some wine. I was only passing through for a few hours before catching the ferry so did not have time for breakfast, but the common room looked very well presented. Everything was spotless. Would recommend if you need somewhere to stay in Picton.

The Wifi internet is not strong in the backyard rooms, we need to go outside to have internet access. The rest was everything perfect.
