Good staff help

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The location was great. I would definitely stay again.

Clean room with fresh towels every day, friendly staff and overall a very nice visit for the 3 days we stayed and would definitely stay there again if the need arised

The room was basic but clean. It was conveniently located for doing the things we planned to do. The staff was very helpful with suggestions when we asked.

Self check in via phone. No staff. Very nice for a motel. Close to eats and very quiet for being on a main thoroughfare.

L’employé à l’accueil était très sympathique, le check-in a été simple et le stationnement facile. Le motel est à 5 minutes en voiture de la plage ! Nos draps avaient des taches jaunes. Nous avons donc demandé de nouveaux draps, mais nous avons dû les changer nous-mêmes. Les serviettes de bain présentaient également des taches. Notre chambre était située juste à côté de la machine à glace, ce qui était assez bruyant. De plus, dès qu’une autre chambre utilisait de l’eau (douche, lavabos, etc), il y avait beaucoup de bruit. Cela a malheureusement causé plusieurs réveils durant la nuit, même si le motel semblait peu occupé. Sinon, dans l’ensemble, c’était acceptable, mais ce ne serait pas mon premier choix pour un long séjour.

I was impressed with the helpfulness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room. The shower spray had extremely low pressure. The sink tap pressure was the opposite and sprayed a small strong mist from the top as well as as from the faucet to the sink. I would definitely stay again.

We arrived at the hotel registration (5:00 pm) to find the reception locked and unattended. A sign in the door glass window provided a telephone number, to register. The hotel person on the telephone advised us how to access the lock box, beside the door, and remove the door key to the room we had been issued. This is an unfamiliar hotel greeting and sign-in! When we arrived at the room (#121) the door was open and when we entered the room, there was an unusual smell/odour. We tried to exhaust the room air with the air conditioning unit, unsuccessfully. We tried to operate the television, without any success or ‘any television instructions’ Without any hotel staff to contact, or any equipment ‘operating instructions’, we had no ability to contact an employee or any understanding of operating the television. We did successfully operate the HVAC equipment to be comfortable in this noisy (next to the hotel entrance door) room. Our instructions for hotel check-out were to leave the hotel key in the room and close/lock the door. This overnight Shediac ‘Auberge Shores Inn’ stay was not very comfortable, convenient or inviting. We will not be recommending this hotel for any Shediac hotel stays, until the owner/operator begins to have hotel staff, to assist hotel guests. For your consideration, Bob Haley

We were late and the office was closed. We called the number on the note posted on the door and someone answered right away. The key was in a lockbox and was easy to get. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The website says it is a hotel but it was a motel. We stayed two nights.

Clean room, close to everything

WOW, this place was such a delightful surprise. Huge room, beautiful furnishings and noticeable attention to details such as WiFi instructions, TV listings and a corkscrew. The full breakfast served in a lovely dining room by wonderful staff.

It was clean and comfortable, the staff were helpful. Not quite as near to the beach as stated and right on the main road.

The who stay was ok. It is a Motel. The one thing that was most bothersome was the hot water ran out. I assume since its low season there is no one in the office after a certain time, or early the morning. So there was no one to help with the situation. 2/3 of us had brisk cold showers to wake us up before the day. Inconvenient, however a cheap place to stay if this doesn't concern you.
