The room was adequate with basic facilities. Shower room was not as clean as I had expected. Staff friendly and food good. I had to cut my stay short due to family commitments by one night, losing one bed & breakfast payment, but was not offered a refund. This was disappointing.

We stayed for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding nearby. The dinner on the first night was delicious & they were able to cater for my gluten & lactose intolerances. Our room was small but had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, the shower nice & powerful. The room although next to the car park was quiet. The choice for breakfast was fairly small but was perfectly cooked & hot. All in all a great place to stay.

an OK stay. Room could do with some attention to carpet and walls - damp and flaking paint. The dinner (sunday) was average, pre-cooked and reheated and the butternut squash took some locating. For what was meant to be the main element I had 2 1x1cm squares of it in the polenta loaf - disappointing meal.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful the room was perfect with doors onto the garden. Air con was brilliant and the bed was really comfortable.

Good priced accommodation close to the coast sadly the room was not as good a our previous stay, lots of black mould in the en-suite and dirty shower door seals, there is no extractor fan which would help with the damp. Also dirt & cobweb behind the bedside cabinets where the plugs are. Pub and food itself was good, and staff couldn’t do enough.

plus air conditioning which was great in the heat. Beds are comfortable and had a great night's sleep. This was our second visit and a little disappointed with the menu but that was personal choice. Room - bedding spotless and shower and bath clean. However there were some areas where they need to clean ie the radiator. Running a fingers over the yowel rail was thick with dust and the blinds needed a clean. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in the corners and over the bed. Staff - day time staff were pleasant enough when serving but were not very friendly or welcoming. A smile goes a long way! The lady serving breakfast, however, was lovely and very friendly.

A lovely property which was ideal for our needs. Our room was clean and spacious with a lovely outdoor seating area. A good range of food served in the evening and a super breakfast. We would definitely stay again.

Quaint old world English village. The rooms are modern and designed for comfort, our room even had air conditioning. The host was very friendly and the food at breakfast was both healthy and delicious. I wish I could grade the visit higher than 10/10

Very friendly Staff and good service. My rooms bathroom was a little tired and could do with an update. Room also had ceiling skylight with no blind so was very light at sunrise and could do with a blackout blind

Checked in at the pub and shown to room. No mention of breakfast or an alternative as we were leaving early. Quite a few dark hairs in the bathroom...not ours.
