Great location within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and sights of the town with paid parking available just around the corner. Fabulous room and a lovely garden to sit out in of an evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious.

The staff were fabulous, both leading up to our stay when they helped me with some surprises for my friend, and during our stay when nothing was too much trouble! I was able to order an extra package of fizz and flowers, which were placed in one of our rooms upon arrival, together with the banner that I sent ahead. THANKS

This is a beautiful, relaxing place to stay! The room was small but perfectly appointed. The garden was a wonderful place to relax in the afternoon or have breakfast in the morning. The staff were exceptional, so friendly and helpful! We hope to return!

Mostly very good, but soap dispensers bolted to the wall where they could not be reached from the bath. Just plain stupid.

Lovely stay that ticked every box. The room was comfortable and very homely. Check-in was really easy and the room was ready early. We took the breakfast option and it didn't disappoint. You could just tell all the ingredients were quality and the service was too. Would definitely recommend staying and I'm sure we'll stay again in charming Shrewsbury.

A really lovely and well run hotel. I was more than pleased with the room and bathroom, had everything I needed. The breakfast was spot on, freshly made for the morning and loads to choose from. Id love to come back and bring dad to stay for a weekend.

The stay was perfect, loved the honesty bar and breakfast! The bed was very comfortable. Quiet at night and staff were so helpful. As a solo traveller I felt very safe here and well looked after, nothing was too much trouble. Will be back again!

Perhaps one the best hotel breakfasts I've had, the breakfast menu was fantastic and the bacon was to die for. The staff at reception and in the dining room were lovely. The room was clean and tidy. It was a single so a little small and wherever you put the chair it was in the way. But great place, great location. Will definitely be back.

Lovely welcome and very cute little hotel. Room was well appointed, clean and comfy. No parking but being in a pedestrian zone made all the difference with just distant traffic noise.

Excellent, loved everything about our stay. Great position close to river and town centre. Very warm welcome, room 10 was really nice, large and decorated in a funky Darwin theme, with a great view of garden. Breakfast was really nice with a great choice, all staff really friendly and looked after us well.

Couldn't ask for more, we had 4 female cyclists riding around Shropshire on ebikes and the Darwins Townhouse were so helpful in every aspect, storing the bikes, etc. Rooms were beautifully decorated and lovely beds, superb breakfast as well. They also had lunch in their sister property which was very good. Will certainly be using again. Many thanks

The staff was always available to help. The room and hotel was clean and comfortable and decorated in a really nice quirky style.
