Love the bay view!

Love the bay views and dock that extends into the bay. Very relaxing to sit outside and enjoy the view.

Staff was very accommodating allowing us to park in the lot prior to check in.

The views on the bayside are amazing at this super friendly, fabulous place to stay in Dewey! Walkable to everywhere & everything. The pool is super clean as are the rooms. But the very best part is the helpful, attentive, above & beyond staff. Everyone including front desk, housekeeping & maintenance are available & happy to help. Really would like to keep this hotel a secret for fear I won’t be able to get reservations. But it’s too hard not to share

My family and I loved this hotel. Dog friendly, nice pool, right on the bay and a quick walk to the beach. It was clean, quiet and great location. My kids loved the dock and we went out on it daily. The only thing is next to the hotel is a nightclub. On Friday and Saturday night it can get a little crowded outside the resort but I couldn’t hear anything from our room so it didn’t affect us at all except when out walking our dog on the streets those two nights. The other nights were great. Would absolutely come again, get a bay side view!!!

For Dewey Beach, I realize my options for a clean, quiet room under $340 are limited. I booked 1 night at the Bay Resort. I appreciate the hotel having quiet hours but with the walls so thin, we could tell our neighbors had a child, and we could hear ALL of their conversations. The balcony view was marred by a 6 foot fence so views were so so. We did not bother attempting to bathe in our room’s shower since it was clear it had not been washed in sometime (based on the footprints) and there was a large crack in the tub as well. The room had an old kitchenette, with plates that weren’t filthy but not exactly clean either. The mini fridge was delicate but kept our drinks cool. The beds and pillows were comfy and the sheets were nice and clean. Very friendly staff. If you plan on parking at the resort, it is $16.19. Lastly, the location is superb. Bottle and cork is literally just up the road, and Northbeach was a mere 30 steps from the Resort property. It’s important to note that this place does NOT have an elevator, so room options for those who cannot go up stairs are limited. I would recommend reaching out to the resort to see if you can request a 1st floor room. Rooms are dated and things need to be fixed. It was fine but I won’t stay again. The best thing is the bay view and the pool. Kitchenette was super old. Not all burners worked. Shower had stains. Many things were not stocked. The staff would do their best to respond but they didn’t always understand what we needed due to language barriers.

This was my second time staying here and it’s a perfect location because you can walk to the beach, restaurants, bars… and the staff is wonderful. The room is always clean. Beds are comfy. Will be back for sure.

Super friendly staff, great location, parking, and well maintained

We loved sitting on our back porch and watching birds. Very peaceful way to start the day.Our room was clean and comfortable. the staff were all friendly.

Everything was awesome. Lovely place to stay and they LOVE dogs.

I have been staying here once a year at least for the past eight years to say things have changed is an understatement. It feels like there’s been nothing but cutbacks they’ve taken away almost everything, including the swings and the outdoor showerhead. It is so corporate and disgusting. now it’s sad. Everything in my room was absolutely filthy, the woman who worked there were excellent and tried very hard to do their best with what they were given. It’s sad that there’s not even a tissue in the bathrooms anymore. It’s come a far far away from when it was privately owned from my family I get that but this corporate BS and the management running things the way that they see fit which is horrible for the building itself is tragic. I’m not sure I’ll ever stay there again. The view was beautiful the overwhelming amount of dogs pooping everywhere and staying at the facility is disgusting. The only grass area down by the bay is filled with dogs, poop and pee everywhere and again they took down the swings around the cabana which you can see from the pictures. It was disappointing to say the least.

The stay was ok, I expected a little more considering the description of the room said that it had a separate room which it didn’t. It was a basic room nothing exciting.

Best place on the Delmarva!!! Staff amazing. GM also amazing. Great pool, walkable to everything. Beautiful bay views. I always stay @ Bay Resort or I don’t go

2nd floor ice machine didn't work, other guest left trash laying around, hotel staff didn't pick it up, I did

Room was decent comfy beds,house keeping could have been much better. Stood for two day never saw a housekeeper, only on the day I was leaving. They were their an hour before checkout, so they can clean room for next person.

Nice rooms

This place is wonderful. You can walk to all the restaurants, live music, or sweet treats. The access to the bay is top notch. Paddle board right out from your room! The whole room is clean, view is wonderful (bay side) the pool is refreshing yet warm and clean. Be prepared for some beautiful sunsets! Two things: no elevator so if stairs are a concern request ground floor and bring bug spray for at night the little guys will nip you up.

The room was cold, the bed was comfortable, and the water pressure was good. Also loved that there was a litle kitchenette
