Bad area! Unsafe! Nasty! Bugs! Front office smells very strong of cat urine!

I should have read more reviews before booking for 2 night's. The staff was very friendly. The main thing was the bed & bathroom was clean. This is definitely not your normal hotel stay. There was no hand/bath soap or hand towels or bath mat, or hairdryer which i asked for on arriving.There was 2 wash clothes and 2 bath towels, 2 packs of 1 cup coffee and cups. They did give us more the next morning but although the open sign was on OPEN no one was in the office, so rang bell and met someone walking back to room who asked did you ring the bell. What room # and husband told her and she replied oh Y'all owe for damages! Excuse me?? There's just us 2 in room and I know we've not caused any damages. She was still asleep and said oh im sorry it was before you in that room. Not sure if they had just taken out the carpet and put in other flooring but it was sticky and dirty and the room had a musty odor which i was prepared for with air freshener. Outside on arrival was trash bags and trash around multiple rooms. Ours had ants everywhere from trash which I picked up the one bag by our door and took it to the dumpster and reported the ants to maintenance man that was later outside but other trash still there upon leaving. The stay before this was about the same price and much better accommodations. Lesson learned.... read more reviews.

We did have a lot of flys, 1 very small towel for 2 ppl , pool was closed for the weekend we were there, but it did smell really good in the room n was clean ,

I arrived around 9:30pm, not sure why but my gps took the long way - I drove down from Cleveland, OH. Since I had prepaid for the room, I didn’t feel it was necessary to contact the property. When I arrived, there was a note on the door that gave a phone number to call, indicating they were cleaning rooms. The woman said the owner gave my room away because I was a “no show” because “most people check in around 2pm.” When I said that I had already paid for the room, she quickly said she would refund me, and I asked where I was supposed to find a hotel in the middle of no where at 10pm. She then said she would clean a room for me to use but it would take around 30 minutes. I really needed a bathroom and she said there was nothing to use because the room was dirty and the office didn’t have a public bathroom. The room had no lamp, just an overhead light plus the light over sink & bathroom. The sink & bathtub were either dirty or very stained. The towels and bedding were clean and the bed & pillows were comfortable, although two pillows had no pillow cases on them. The refrigerator worked.

Well,we have stayed in worse but we at least thought the pics we saw it would be a little cleaner :( There something on the floor but it was not,carpet,tile or vinyl,it actually seemed like it was papery and very dirt gritty.I bathroom was about the same but with vinyl flooring. We wom't visit there again,room #18.And no coffee or eats of anykind

They young lady that checked me in was very nice and helpful and did a great job seeing see was the only one doing everything there by herself

Check in wasn't very smooth at all it smells like cat's and they still didn't have the pools working smh i was very disappointed. The up side is the rooms are big they aren't bad . And the ppl was very nice ..... im sure the key was just a off moment, the cat smell around it was the main issue and not getting a pool after paying 88.00

If you're looking for the usual ammenities, this place isn't for you. Coffee, but no cream/sugar packets, no hair dryer, no ironing board, etc. It's bare bones and overpriced. BUT, it is VERY clean and the young lady running things is very sweet.

As always the staff were very helpful and kind, the room was well put together as always, and staff was quick to assist in any way they could if needed

Owners are great. Very friendly, helpful,great people. The pool is odd but still very good. Rooms smelled old and off smoke.

Old property run by nice people. Everything worked but in "needs replacement condition."

To check in, you have to ring a doorbell. If no-one comes, you have three phone numbers to call. It took me about 30 minutes to get someone to check me in. The toilet paper roll was empty. There was no coffee or cups for the coffeemaker (I went to the office, rang the bell, and got the needed items.) Staff was very pleasant, but they are woefully understaffed.

While the room was clean, it reeked of cigarette smoke and cat urine. The walls were so thin we could hear people moving around upstairs all night making it hard to sleep.

Reservations for two rooms had been make weeks in advance. We arrived at about 8:20 and the clerk was surprised. He said notice of our stay was sent only hours before. Still, nothing had been done to prepare our rooms. We were told that they would be ready in thirty minutes, but it took fifty of course. No problem with the stay once we got into our rooms.

Property was clean and maintained.
