Lovely people, great view over the lake and countryside beyond, wonderful room. Breakfast was outstanding. Really enjoyed our stay at Jetwing lake - which we used as a base for visiting the incredible sights in the area (Dambulla, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa)

Fantastic hotel, food and staff

Very friendly staff.

Good comfortable stay , amazingly long pool , good service and a diverse buffet spread . The executive chef came and visited us every morning which was a nice touch .

Room was clean and spacious. Staff were nice and accommodating, helped us arrange private driver for the day. Food good at all times as was the Canopy bar.

Extremely comfortable stay - the rooms are very modern and spacious with stunning views of the beautiful surroundings. The hotel facilities are fantastic and hotel staff are very friendly, polite and helpful with booking transport/excursions.

Utterly excellent hotel. Food, setting, staff, rooms, spa and pool all brilliant. From here we used hotel drivers to go to Sigiriya, elephant safari, Pollanawa and Arandupura. Highly recommend

We had an amazing stay at Jetwing Lake. What a beautiful and unique property with a stunning pool! It was so easy to visit Sigiriya and the Eco Park from there. The staff were amazing. And the food was excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets each night. A very big thanks to the amazing staff who always went out of their way to make out stay even more amazing: Imantha, Ekanayake, Shan, Ashada, Kasun, Udithi, Halangoda, Madushan, Trileeshiya, Gimhani, Priyantha, Rizky, and the best from the housekeeping team, Sampath. Thank you to each of you.

Wonderful hotel, very tranquil and peaceful location, gorgeous swimming pool overlooking the lake. Rooms have pool or lake view. Helpful and friendly staff. Evening buffet has a wide selection.

IS superb enough of a description? Warm welcome, huge rooms with a view of the pool and lake with also a huge bathroom. An internet that really works and superfriendly service. The buffet for breakfast has an almost infinite selection and so has the dinner bufet. In adition, they have a chinese restaurant.

This property had a beautiful view, but it lacked soul or atmosphere - it felt like a bit like you could be anywhere and the small bar area upstairs was mostly vacant. We ate in the Chinese restaurant both nights as as we do not like buffet dinners - and if the breakfast buffet is anything to go by then it's nothing to write home about. The service was great - lovely people. If you are a big family and don't want to feel conscious about making noise, with a laid back buffet area and plenty of grass for the kids to run around on, morning and night, this could be the place for you.

My stay at the Jetwing Lake was truly exceptional and easily the best hotel experience I've ever had. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always greeting me with a smile and going out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel's location was perfect, surrounded by nature and away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The serene and tranquil atmosphere made for a peaceful and restorative stay. The room itself was quiet and well-appointed, with stunning views from my balcony that left me in awe every morning. The wifi worked fine, not super fast but fast enough. I was also getting a good 4G signal on my phone. The breakfast was a highlight of my stay - delicious and varied, with plenty of options to suit all tastes. Overall, the Jetwing Lake exceeded my expectations in every way possible. If you're looking for a hotel that provides a perfect blend of rest, relaxation, and nature, this is the place for you.

Fantastic experience, the personnel were amazing

Perfect paradise. From the moment of arrival, you know you are showing up to someplace special. The photos online do not do justice. I am a full time digital nomad that has travelled the world for the last 4 years, and this is a stand out place that I have been. You are greeted with a choice of welcome drinks. The lobby is open air outside and you can see the beautiful landscape. The staff was friendly and professional and make you feel very welcome. I was then shown to my room and told about the property along the way. I don’t know how many times I said WOW on the walk to the room and once in the room. The views from the room are stunning. I booked the Deluxe King, it overlooks the lake and pool and a mountain. The trees on the property are large and sound so nice swaying in the breeze. You can hear the sound of the water flowing over the pool and the sounds of peacocks and other animals in the distance with very soft piano music over by the restaurant. The pool is insanely clean, a perfect temperature and depth. The food is all delicious and beautifully prepared. You are a really close distance to the cave temples, which are some of the most beautiful and impressive temples I have ever seen. I am usually quite picky when it comes to reviews, but this place is amazing and I even extended my stay for a night. I saw others talking about it being dated or not being a resort, I don’t find that to be true. If anything, it has an industrial vintage feeling.
