Charming hotel, very good services, beautiful place. Need some modernization especially on bathroom.

Breakfast was fine. The food overall was kind of disappointing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bar was good.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful! The room was huge and very well appointed as well as comfortable!

Fantastic place to visit and eat. Staff were amazing, food was excellent (both dinner and breakfast). Deffo returning in the future.

To Management, I would like to highlight two operational issues that require prompt attention: Bathroom Facilities: The current taps do not provide hot and cold mixing functionality. An upgrade is necessary to ensure proper hygiene standards and guest comfort, and this should be prioritised as soon as possible. Catering/Menu Variety: The menu has remained unchanged for an extended period. Introducing additional dishes and rotating options would significantly improve the dining experience and overall satisfaction. Addressing these items will enhance both service quality and customer perception.

Lovely lounge and bar area, staff very friendly and helpful. Room spacious but needs a refurbishment, especially the bathroom and the water temperature fluctuates so not so good in the shower. Fantastic breakfast, food cooked to order and plenty of choice.

Staff exceptionally helpful! Dinner service was amazing. Beds comfortable and the rooms spacious. A great night stay on our way up exploring NC 500!

Lovely setting and the food (dinner and breakfast) was great

The hotel is being “refreshed”; there are missing latches on windows and odd plumbing, some tired carpets, weird (to my tastes) metal animals arranged around the property. However, the room was clean and functional, the restaurant food was very good for dinner and breakfast.

We had 2 rooms and both were beautiful and perfect for those travelling. Staff were super attentive and so friendly, nothing was a problem. Breakfast is fantastic. We tried every disj while there and couldnt fault any of them. Our fussy 2 year old was delighted and the staff were super friendly with him. Gary the night manager was fantartic had some great stories and advice for us. Sad we had to leave without saying goodbye but we will be back. We loved everything about it!

Staff very friendly and welcoming - Veejay was wonderful upon check in and showed us round before we headed up to our room. Our room was very spacious and our 14 year old appreciated the separate room he had! We were leaving early on our departure day and so it was organised for us to be able to go down to the breakfast room and have continental breakfast which was greatly appreciated! We wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

10/10 - Staff were great - food fantastic - lovely lounge and bar areas - all fabulous. Also great views from the gardens. Would recommend.

Lovery place, definitely staying again

A warm welcome from Vijay who seems to pop up everywhere with a warm smile and a cheery welcome. Fourth time I have been in the same room. It was warm, well appointed and with expected little extras. Breakfast was cooked to order and plentiful. The hotel has character and an old world charm to it that works.

Beautiful traditional hotel. Very warm and friendly staff. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer and would 100% recommend
