I left my eye glasses in the room, the staff helped me find it and shipped it to me right away. Their room is great, nice and clean. Breakfast is wonderful! They have the best service!

Loved staying at this beautiful Victorian B& B! Our room was very large with a lovely sitting area! We checked out some of the other rooms which were just as nice! The host was amazing and helped us find great restaurants that we could walk to. Rooms were very clean, and the bed also very comfortable. Delicious full breakfasts, and accommodated my gluten and dairy free needs! Bottle of champagne welcomed us with home baked goodies every afternoon as well! Highly recommend for a special experience! Super location right on the coast with beautiful views. Often saw walkers, para gliders and kiters. Will stay here again!

I didn’t see anyone due to the time I arrived and left. There was a breakfast but I had to leave at 8 am and the breakfast didn’t start until 8:30 am. I liked that it was close to the beach, but again due to the lateness of my arrival, I didn’t get an opportunity to go over to it.

This is a beautiful property with charm and history. Staying for 3 nights was enough for the staff to know who I was and what room I was in, and my introverted nature was ok :-) I loved being so close to the Dallas Road waterfront trail and Beacon Hill park (with some peacock serenades!). And the breakfasts were delicious (my fav was the egg scramble with sausage, bacon & cheese!).

The house and area were wonderful! it has a million dollar view. The staff is incredible. My only suggestion would be to have natural fabric bedding instead of microfiber.

Great location away from hustle of downtown Victoria. Right in from of the ocean, beach access across the street from the property, next to a large park. Walking distance to great dining options and grocery store. Room has mini-fridge and coffee maker. downstairs in common/breakfast area there is great selection of teas, Kreug coffees, and cookies. Staff is excellent. Breakfast is a high quality and sufficient variety, albeit pre-set for a day, table service, not a buffet like hotel chains. If you're tall, don't get 3-rd floor rooms, like Camelot, although quietest, the ceilings are very low. You're essentially in the attic and have to navigate roof angles sprinkled around the room and bathroom. Some imperfections in cleanliness around property.

This place is such a gem. For folks who appreciate staying in older homes. You cannot beat the beautiful location with good restaurants and shopping in the village down the street. Yes, the floor boards may creek a bit, but you are staying in a home that has stories to tell. Clean, comfortable and quiet, and the cookies and breakfast were fantastic and very much appreciated:)

Absolutely spectacular room and top-notch service. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The room was visually stunning and very comfortable. Our only issue was the noise from the room above us, which started very early.

Dashwood Manor exceeded our expectations. The property was exceptionally well appointed, the staff were absolutely delightful and felt like family and the breakfasts were a culinary delight. Beacon Hill park right across the street was even more enthralling than our favorite Butchart Gardens with water fowl, peacocks and during our visit in M ay a fantastic great blue heron rookery. Our lively view of the water daily showcased windsurfer and kiteboarding along with the dog park, walking and biking paths. So entertaining!!

Great location near Beacon Hill Park (a must visit during your stay in Victoria). The Cambridge Room is lovely with a big Jacuzzi-size bathtub in the room to relax in after a chilly whale watching tour or long walks around town.
