Lovely place to stay, very chilled.

The room was small but the bed was comfortable with clean soft linen. The shared bathroom and toilet facilities were clean and seemed to accommodate all visitors. The kitchen and common lounge were clean and inviting. Good value for money.

The pictures really don’t do justice for how beautiful this place and area is. It was quiet, had everything you needed, the view is stunning, it is short walk to beach and to walk to the falls! Highly recommend!

This Beachstay is in a beautiful location. The house itself is very well equipped and has great common areas and facilities. Beds super comfortable. Everyone very respectful and friendly. 10 minute walk to the beach, and 2 walking tracks within minutes walk.

Close to the beach and hikes. Very laid back. Jeff has great recommendations which are posted right on the wall for your convenience. He even has farm fresh eggs from his chicken available for $1 and a trampoline. So fun!

This was such a lovely place to stay, in a gorgeous location. I wish I could have booked a longer stay. The outdoor area was full of greenery and a perfect place to kick back with a book or conversation. The hostel had a cozy feeling, and also walking distance to a nice waterfall hike and to the beach.

Very nice clean hostel

It was my first time staying in a hostel, and I was pleasantly surprised, the place was extremely clean, and very welcoming. If i am ever in Piha again, I would for sure stay there again!

A beautiful place to stay. very friendly, clean and close to the beach.

Overall great stay. Walking distance to the beach and hiking trails. I did the Kite Kite trail and walked up and down Phia beach. Beautiful area.

Lovely, secret hideaway on a gorgeous piece of property. We stayed in the room with en suite bath, which was clean, spacious, and quiet.

It was such a lovely stay, I wished I could have stayed longer! Could easily do a week there, the short distance is totally worthwhile for the breathtaking views. Everyone was friendly and welcoming even the pets.

At Piha Beachstay, the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Jeff #1 who went out of his way to fixed a surfboard so I can rent it and Jeff #2 who was hospitable making checkin easy. The room was clean and spotless-thanks to the amazing housekeepers! The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The outdoor patio area had comfy chairs for sitting out and a trampoline for a fun bounce! A shared kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook including a good size fridge and free range eggs (for purchase but a nice touch!). The location was perfect just steps away to breathtaking Kitekite Falls and 10-15 minutes walk to famous sites such the Lion Rock, Piha surf beach and the Tasman Sea Lookout. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Piha about 45 minutes west of Auckland City.
