Everything 5 stars again. The hotel is getting a full re-fit ...I spoke to the owner and they are going to re-store The New President to the way it was originally when it first got built😎😎😎 That's me stayed at The New President now 10 times. Kitchen and Waiting staff excellent again. Martin,Phillip and Ian in the dining room done a great job again,nothing too much. Colin the night porter ,nothing too much,anything you needed he would organize🌞☀️🌞 Roast Pork ........Wednesday Roast Chicken and Roast Beef Thursday. £17.50 for 3 courses including fruit juice. Starter,Main and Dessert. The President is slowly getting back to the way it was in it's hey day. A+A+A+.....Magnificent Family Hotel.

Ice cold tiny pokey room at back of the hotel. Had to go buy a fan heater at B&M. The room would be more suitably used as a linen store. They need to maintain the hotel at a comfortable 21C in all areas.

Staff very nice and helpful, room nice, beds really comfy, and crisp linen. Basic shower room needs upgrade but worked ok. Downside, the room was next to the back of restaurant so staff smoked under our room window all hours, and where coughing loud so not nice. Also was freezing, waited for heating to come on in the evening and morn but didnt, left early morn as to cold and smell of smoke was off putting.

Didnt use the bar but breakfast was very good.

Evening meal is excellent Ian the chef is fantastic accommodating and nothing is too much trouble I will return again

I always always return to the President as they have never let me down

The room was clean and comfy Tv worked well and a good stick of tea and coffee with milk and a nice kettle shower was good even though on the 4th floor

Everything was 100 % The staff were excellent,especially the breakfast staff. Ian on the breakfast waiting team was especially attentive and made sure everyone was well looked after and had a kind word for everyone. The breakfast was excellent ..proper thick bacon,perfect scrambled eggs and proper Lancashire sausages. This is the 10th time I have stayed at The New President Hotel😀😀😀

I wouldn't go anywhere else in Blackpool

Breakfast choice was decent enough if it wasn't reheated food from the day(s) before. Staff pleasent enough but had to keep asking and asking them to get any thing done! Receptionist was pretty rude when complained about a few things.. Arrived to a room with dog hair and pubes over the bedding, stained pillow cases, poo mark on the undersheet. Shower barely drained. No toilet brush in the bathroom. Hotel stunk of cannabis. No entertainment on the full week I was there despite it advertising nightly entertainment. First time in Blackpool and this hotel made sure it will be my last. It seems like they are housing homeless peoplr with the people hanging around outside it or passing through in the hotel, barely a tooth between most. Dog friendly which is fine, would have thought dogs would have been kept to a specific part of the hotel which was not the case, dogs barking through the night, rooms and linen infested with dog hair. Can say much much more but feel this will do for now. My friend made bullet points of all the issues when we stayed and it is literally never ending. Faulty towers 2.0 .. yes it's cheap but AVOID at all costs

Food was home cooked and hot. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Room was average for the price

Room was not cleaned properly, had to change rooms as they only had a bath, no shower they then moved us from a Seaview room to a partial sea view, windows creked all noght laeft at 7.15 this morning, will never go back to this hotel

We found a large knife in the room. Wardrobe door was hanging of. Plug was to big for the sink. Lights flashed in bathroom. Curtains came of rail when opened. Shower was very poor ( no pressure ) Tv didnt work due to bad weather Plug sockets need to next to beds Light switch behind head board was annoying 2 bedside cabinets would be better than 1 4 coat hangers is not enough for 2 people Breakfast needed more options.. fruit and yoghurts.. mushrooms and black pudding Coffee defi needs to be upgraded Staff were great..friendly and helpful Wifi worked Probably wouldn't stay again

I had to leave before breakfast was served - I was there staying for work It’s my second time in this hotel and it’s really nice - I have the evening meal (3 courses ) and the food is exceptional- I have already booked my third stay next week
