Super cool place. Right across from the water. Great breakfast

We stayed in room 501 and the bathroom floor looked like it had Not been cleaned since the pandemic. The bathroom area way too small and the tub is built for a child. Our room needed MAJOR updating. .

Hotel was ok. Room was a bit dated and smelly. Bathroom was comically small, shower would splash all over the place. Bathroom sink was tiny, no place to put anything, however the room was pretty large with a lot of unused space. Bed was comfortable and clean. Great breakfast

Good location Good offering of amenities, however there are two pools and both are cold. Spa area is nice but pool was not heated, jacuzzi has little water and is somewhat dirty and spa showers are not working properly.

Looks great in photos - not so lovely in real life! Aside from the reception the hotel has an industrial look, and my husband felt like the floors the rooms were on looked like a prison! The room was functional and the bed was comfortable. However the seating was covered in stains and the bathroom looked old and tired. The restaurant was only open for breakfast, which meant having to go out to get food. It was either a 40 minute walk into town - not good in the weather we had or a taxi. The breakfast was pretty much a continental with scrambled egg thrown in. It was opposite the sea and on a good day the walk into town was pleasant enough.

There is some serious management issues. 1. Friday morning; there is no fork on tables or anywhere in the breakfast area and just one staff is trying his best to serve guests. Lack of staff and preparation. During our stay, we noticed that you need to wake up really early to have breakfast, and they move everything out on cut off time; including water and coffee. 2. Hotel staff speaks english but they are tend to favor spanish speaker guests. I feel like non-spanish speakers are not welcomed. You line up to ask a question, or simply check in/out and you see that someone cuts the line and staff just simply ignore you and talks to that spanish speaker person. Rude!! 3. Outdoor pool is not clean; you see bugs, hair etc in there. 4. Room was very clean, and well taken care of. Comfortable but no complimentary water or anything at the hotel. Get ready to pay 5 USD for a small water. 5. Location is so remote. There is nothing around the hotel. You need taxi or a rental car to go to town or ferry and get ready to rip off by taxi drivers or the hotel. The hotel staff called a taxi for us and a private car showed up with no meter and you just need to pay whatever the driver says and forget about fair currency exchange. They rip you off. This hotel does not deserve to be a wyndham hotel. Poor service. There is no way we could go back to this hotel.

Nice and dated facilities. Friendly and professional staff.

The location is very nice, (1.6 miles, 3 kms from downtown.) Check in and Check out where very expedite. The staff is very cordial and ready to assist on anything you need. There was a door under the sink which was broken and needed some repair. That was the only unconviniet issue we had during our stay. We had a wonderful stay!

The hotel is very nice, the pool, sauna, gym, and ability to rent bicycles for the day really made the trip. The staff for more than helpful on every occasion, going out of their way to accommodate our every need. The only drawback was that the stove in our sweet was not operational, but the room service was on point. It also seemed a little difficult to sort out the fact that we paid for our stay ahead of time, but this can tend to be a problem when staying in some countries in South America in general.

The hotel is new and offers everything you need - nice, large rooms, a decent spa, excellent service from staff. The main caveat is that it's a good 3km from the centre of town, so you need to walk for some time to get to the main attractions in Colonia. On the flip side, it is a beautiful riverside walk down the Rambla (or jog if that's your thing) and I believe the hotel also lends out bikes although I didn't do it. Overall, recommended for a comfortable and pampered stay in Colonia! Also be aware that you are best off paying in USD or card for the room (Uruguayan has a ridiculous exchange).

Great location, right on the riverside. Not far from downtown. Very big room, tiny bathroom. (could hardly move in there.Why couldn't the room be a bit smaller and the bathroom a bit bigger?). Good sheets and towels quality. Simple dinner menu. Average breakfast buffet. Nice, clean indoor pool area although the pool could also be a bit bigger and the relaxing area a bit smaller. (Again, strange use of space).

Garage is very bad, breakfast was disappointing, spa was also disappointing. The worst was the check out at 10am.

Nice to experience new facilities. Comfortable and easy going staff. Good for elderly to move around.
