Clean room, comfy, quiet. Nothing else to ask for.

Very good location. Pub staff very friendly and professional particularly Alex who was excellent. Nice menu with a variety of options all prepared and presented extremely well. Nice room, but did have to ask for a change of sheets after 6 days. Would also have liked a grab bar in the shower. My wife and I are seniors and were nervous about slipping. However, have to say the shower was the easiest to use of any hotel we have stayed in. Highly recommended !

I often sat at the Lodge and prefer this to the main hotel - the reasons being the rooms are more modern, the WIFI is top notch and doesn't suffer black-outs (like the main hotel does) and the bathrooms are newer and the showers are all really powerful. The only thing better at the main hotel is breakfast... but it isn't worth the extra ££. I'd very much recommend the Lodge !!!

Room was a good size, bed ok but the fan in the room was very loud at night, plus the room needs blackout blinds as the curtains do not block the right sunshine. Had breakfast in the hotel be warned they add on 10% “optional” service chargeable which I really didn’t appreciate and in my view to ad it automatically is VERY bad practice! If I want to tip I will forcing me means I won’t return! Also great shame they don’t add a taxi as part of there stay and park scheme. Overall just ok

My wife and I stayed for one night and booked a room with a balcony, a slightly better room. We were shocked that the double bed was so small it felt like a 3/4. We have s terrible night sleep squashed together. We won’t stay here again based on this.

Stay with friends over Sail GP weekend - rooms ideal and food n drinks in the pub great - price reasonable - staying in the lodge rooms access to pool spa seemed very expensive to just have a swim.

Nice clean property, quiet with very pleasant staff. Ample parking.

Its comfortable ,clean and everything works :) There are several dining options too, the pub, the hotel bar and the hotel restaurant, that is if you don't want to walk around the corner to the Whiteley Shopping Centre

Stayed at the silent the week before and I’d rather pay a little extra to stay there again in future. The lodge was basic and a little tired and did not feel the cleanliness was a great standard. Staff member who checked me in was also a bit grumpy and not very welcoming….. maybe he was just having a bad day.

Stayed at Lodge at Solent for a family wedding. The room we had was very pleasant but spoilt by the bleach stains & marks on the carpet. The room was very clean & there was a good shower. The bed was ok but bit harder than I would have liked We didn't have the continental breakfast but did have a meal in the bar on one of the evenings we stayed, I had the Hunters chicken. It was very average & not a large portion for the price. We found the staff very friendly & helpful.

Just not the best and overpriced for the quality. Check in was efficient and the staff friendly but the room was tired and the carpet was badly stained. From the stained carpet to the unlabelled bottle, of what we assume was shower gel in the bathroom - through to the empty monster can left in the sink - the experience at Lodge was a let down. The skirting boards are damaged and the whole room just felt like it had been abused. For the price we paid the room was a huge disappointment. The bed was comfy

Clean rooms, great service, ample parking, great restaurants, convenient location.

Ideal overnight stay for the cruise terminal.
