Beautiful traditional Japanese-style ryokan with a warm and cozy atmosphere. The snowy scenery behind the hotel was absolutely breathtaking, especially from dawn to sunrise. The shared kitchenette is very basic (hot water only), so Muslim travelers may want to prepare ready-to-eat food, as halal options are limited due to the remote location. The shared onsen/shower may feel uncomfortable for Muslims, but we managed by showering late at night when no other guests were around. Overall, a peaceful and memorable stay with stunning winter views. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It's a pleasant stay. Breakfast and dinner are delicious and well presented. Room is comfortable, however, please beware that toilet and bathroom are public, public onsen available. Location is a bit far from the train station and old town, about 10 minutes drive. Suggest to order your dinner when you arrive or prior to your arrival as there are no restaurants nearby. Last bus from the city is at 16:40. Free shuttle in the morning is provided. Overall recommended stay.
