Great people who run the place also beautiful property

We drove down to Hochkönig, Salzburg, Austria from the UK in September 2024 while heading back from Croatia and opted to stay here for 2 days. The front desk managed by a lovely gentleman who goes by the name of Hans (hope I’m spelling that right), he was really helpful and kind. I’d highly recommend staying here, the view from our apartment were amazing, the apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. Please be aware there was an 80 Euro cleaning charge added to our stay… but we were aware of this beforehand. Don’t let that put you off though, it was lovely stay and it was great value for money.

Very nice, clean, spacious rooms, lovely view, good food. This is my second time in this hotel. Very happy with the stay.

Das Grünholz Aparthotel is a beautiful hotel in the charming Austrian Alps. The hotel owners and staff are amiable and professional. The hotel feels brand new, and the restaurant is outstanding.

Very nice hosts

Fantastic location. Staff extremely pleasant and welcoming. Gave us lots on tips on free cable cars public transport etc. This hotel is part of summer tourism scheme in Mulbach . Limited choice in restaurant for veggie or vegan option. Unlikely many other hotels the room look as in pictures on website. Well maintained hotel I would rate it much higher than 3 *

Unfortunately it was just one night for us in amazing Alps site, with clouds flowing somewhere down the windows. The hosts were away when we arrived at night but they left the key and we settled in the great apartment with everything we needed. One of the best experiences ever

It was one of my best experiences with the family at an apartment hotel, on par with those you find in Holland. The hotel manager was amazing, kind and patient. All my requests, and there were a few, regarding liitle issues like extra towels, times, sightseeing and a griller all were taken care of in a professional and courteus manner. It really felt like family and will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. Its location was excellent and close to all attractions in Salzburg plus the added Hochkonig card bonus.

Et rigtig godt ophold, lejligheden vi boede i var rigtig fin og stor. beliggenhed får 5 stjerner, men aftensmaden får 2 stjerner. Morgenmaden 3 stjerner. Personalet vil rigtig gerne hjælpe. Hvis man skal have en rigtig flot Østrigsk naturoplevelser vil vi klart anbefale dette hotel.

Mycket vänlig personal. Boendet ligger högt upp i bergen med fantastisk utsikt och fortsätter men några km så kommer man till fina vandringsvägar. Rummen var perfekta för oss med 2 vuxna och 3 barn. Vi återkommer mer än gärna!

Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen und der Ausblick über das Tal für mich als Stadtmensch wirklich eindrucksvoll. Die Internetanbindung war perfekt und das Bett sehr bequem. Das sind die wichtigsten Dinge als Geschäftsreisender. Das Frühstück bot alles, was ich brauche. Insgesamt war es ein schöner Aufenthalt, abgerundet durch das freundliche Personal und dem sehr hilfsbereiten Inhaber.

Sehr schöne, saubere und modern eingerichtete Unterkunft. Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Unterkunft war sehr gut und auch vollständig ausgestattet. Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig und lecker. Restaurant auch sehr empfehlenswert mit schöner Aussicht im Freien. Wellnessbereich leider nicht genutzt, war aber bei der Besichtigung auch sehr einladend. Wir waren zum Familienurlaub mit 3 Kindern 4 Tage dort und fühlten uns wirklich gut aufgehoben.

Vi checkade in sent på kvällen, värden hade hört av sig och informerat att de ej är på plats men berättade var de la våra nycklar och hur vi kom in på hotellet. Utmärkt service, fantastiskt läge. Kan bara rekommendera detta hotell!

Simpelthen bare et fantastisk sted. Det var som en opgradering af eget hjem. Personalet var helt fortryllende venligt og hjælpsomme. Man følte sig som den vigtigste person i hele verdenen.
