This is a newer place very well done. They have a small buffet breakfast and a small bar. The man that checked us in was very polite and helpful. He was upfront and told us that there was no restaurant in the Hotel or anything nearby. He offered to give us some suggestions for some good restaurants that were five minutes away. He also offered to help us order food in if we chose. The restaurants he suggested were very good. Would stay here again.

The best part of the hotel was Kimon, who checked us in at 8:30 at night after more than 24 hours of travel. We were hungry and he suggested take out which he ordered for us and served us on the outside patio with plates and wine glasses. He went above and beyond what you would expect. Kimon was awesome! We only stayed 1 night on our way to Lefkada.

Overall stay wasn't too bad. Due to covid restrictions the breakfast wasn't the best at all but decent and clean place to stay for a few days whilst working locally. Friendly staff.

A minimalistic but yet extremely pleasant architecture. Rooms with no cluttering furniture, very clean without a hint of dust. Bathroom with a modern design displaying a spa or sauna style that really enhances the five (5) star feeling. Really good value for money.

The hotel is brand new in an area of Megara that is being revamped to attract more business, so don't expect much to do in the area. The hotel staff were amazing with their recommendations on where to eat and where to visit. The breakfast was great too. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I would stay here again.

Welcoming front desk. Room was fantastic. Clean, comfortable, everything worked. Had an early morning flight and the door to reception to leave was locked. Had to call front desk. They were offsite. Kind of strange. What would happen in an emergency?

We arrived at the hotel at 3am due to late flights, and the night manager Mykos met us on the walk to check us in and carry our bags. We were late to breakfast, but Vasiliki set a table and gave a a beautiful breakfast with Greek coffee. She wrote us instructions to tour Corinth and told us where to eat dinner. The hotel is family built, family owned and family run - and they are quite happy to include guests in their family! Mary and Maria were so helpful, too. The hotel is new,, comfortable and well-planned. Our GPS did not take us to the right address, but everyone in Megara knows and ready to help!

This hotel is located at the west suburbs of Athens. It is new, clean and quiet. It gives you a comfortable feeling. Although you need to commute by bus to Athens, its unique location does provide you with an opportunity to access daily life of normal Greece people. There are a small town center and a nice harbor nearby. The hotel owner and staffs are very nice, very friendly, and try to give you the best services. We do enjoy our staying at Megara Hotel, and would like to thanks for their wonderful services!

This was my second stay at the Megara Hotel. It is really the only game in town for a modern hotel. Megara is about 30mins from Athens, and makes for a very relaxing place to be if you want to escape the city or explore a more typical Greek neighborhood. The Hotel is a short walk from the main street with shoppes and restaurants. The port area is very very nice as well, Beeraki being my favorite of the food offerings there.

Nice family runned hotel, very good facilities. Staff are very Friendly and helpfull. New facilities, close to highway. Have pistachio trees in the back of the hotel.
