There is no air conditioning, which makes sleeping there in the summer brutal. Location and staff were perfect.

Great location and the staff were very helpful

Perfect location, friendly staff and good value. Breakfast consisted of a croissant, 1/2 baguette, butter and jam which was fine with us. We were offered plates to eat off when we asked but ordinarily breakfast is eaten off the white paper table cover which although it does get changed, we found as odd. It has a slightly shabby feel but we still feel the price was good value for us and we would stay again.

It is exactly what you expect from a 2 star hotel. It does what it says on the tin and it does it fairly well. You are warned about the staircase situation, granted. This being said it is ludicrously difficult to manage with luggage.

Convenient to places

Great location, friendly & helpful staff, comfortable room, availability to purchase a delicious breakfast—we’d definitely stay here again. The only caveat is that there are a lot of stairs, so it’s more ideal for those who travel light.

This hotel had no elevator with reception on 3rd floor and our room on 5th floor. This hotel is not suitable for people with heath conditions or poor mobility. The room had no air conditioning and no safe or fridge. The breakfast offered was minimal and overpriced. We do not recommend this hotel.

Room was clean and comfortable. Nice French breakfast was served. All staff members I encountered were very kind. My room was off the lobby so it was a little noisy in the morning when other guests were having breakfast. Overall a great stay and a good value for such a central location

Convenient for Lyon city centre, everywhere is walkable and bars/restaurants are within 5 minutes walk. The only thing to let it down is the lack of a lift which for us, personally, wasn't an issue, but it could be for anyone with restricted mobility.

Loved the area. The room was lovely in a quaint way. The bathroom/toilet were very good. Lots of stairs (eight flights) but that wasn't a problem per se. The staff were evry accommodating and friendly. Would stay there again and recommend it as a place to sfay in Lyon.

Perfect location. Clean and confortable. For a two-star hotel you get all essentials. I would stay there again.

no elevator, place has a humidity smell

The property was in a great location with a beaitiful courtyard right outside the window and is near the center of town making it easy to get around. The staff was also incredibly helpful and easy to talk too. The building itself is on the older side (which is to be expected) and could get a little bit noisy at night since it's right next to the theatre but it's not super bad and was mostly just distant conversations. Overall it was a great spot and I woukd definently stay here again.

Its a nice location close to all the shopping and dining options. The room while basic was comfortable and the staff - especially Adrianna and Tazneem - were very nice. Would definitely recommend.

No tea or coffee in the rooms. It’s available for purchase in the main floor. Older beds. Too many stairs.

Location was excellent as it is near the old town and close to trendy shopping area. Staff were very friendly and professional. Bathroom was modern and very clean
