A perfect stay once again. This is my favourite hotel in London and is a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the London streets.

This is not a five star hotel. The bed and room furnishings (which were run down) were mediocre at best. It takes more than free chips and soda pop (free mini bar which it is not) or a button you can press for do not disturb to be a 5 star. I expect luxury accommodation, this isn’t even close. There was no bellman to greet you and help with luggage until you walked in and asked for help. There is no sound proofing on windows as stated so if your room is on the back of the hotel you are on the loading dock. My bathroom ceiling leaked two days in a row before they moved me and after requesting to speak with the duty manager I never received a call back. Would never recommend this place and Expedia should do a site visit to validate their 5 star status, strongly disagree.

1st time staying at this hotel, chose a suite as it was a special occasion. Thoroughly recommend this hotel. Suite was very clean, spacious and had everything we required. Hotel staff offered a very warm welcome every time we entered the hotel, and we extremely helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was slightly disorganised with staff trying to charge us, when full breakfast options were already included in our Suite booking. But once resolved, breakfast was very enjoyable. Thoroughly recommend staying here if you wish to be near London Bridge or Tower Bridge; The Shard: or Borough Market. London Bridge Tube station is located nearby.

This is our second stay at The LaLit London and we were just as impressed this time as we were the last. The staff are very friendly and the room was spacious and accommodating. The daily breakfast is also a fantastic way to start the day. We particularly like that the hotel is outside the centre of London so less hustle and bustle but with easy access to public transport to get around as needed. We look forward to rebooking The LaLit for our next stay in London.

Nice, quite, clean, great location. Tower Bridge is around the corner, plenty of restaurants along the river boardwalk, make sure you take the stairs down from the bridge…The LaLit has an indian restaurant, we tried the breakfast, very good…decor is beautiful… The only recommendation I have is to make a more inviting entrance. Add a sign too. It was a little confusing when we checked in, didn’t find the entrance, that is on the side. We went to the restaurant to ask. Otherwise it was a great stay and I recommend the hotel.

Good location, bed very comfortable, decent size room and great shower. The room was a good size but the room could do with a refurb. We’ve stayed in one of the senior classrooms before and this is just a bigger version with the same amenities. Several sockets don’t work and some areas are a bit shabby. Service this time around was minimal. We were told to go up in the lift to the 3rd floor but the lift only goes to floor 2. We then had to wander a bit to find how to get to 3. Shame also about the big beam that cuts across the front door to the room, which obviously isn’t shown on the room description, photos, or mentioned by staff. Definitely would not describe this as a suite. We wouldn’t stay again as we would never pay full price here. Only booked here as had accrued over £100 in Expedia points. Save your money and book a premier Inn.

We stayed at The Lalit over the May Bank Holiday weekend. The hotel and location were 1st class. The staff were friendly and professional. Proximity to London Bridge Station meant London was very easily accessible by Underground. Location by Tower Bridge is ideal for walks along the river to see the sights. We has a wonderful stay and we would highly recommend The Lalit.

What a find! Such an incredibly unique space. We were in the Lambeth Suite - huge room at the top of the building with incredible high ceiling in the eaves and view of the Shard through the arched window. Very comfy bed and fantastic shower. The room Was incredibly quiet for a city location. Staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful and the bar downstairs is lovely. This is a very special place. Sadly no time for breakfast which looked like an amazing Indian feast!
