Lovely converted old “big” house. Only 10 rooms I believe. Spacious n airy room and lovely bathroom. Lots hot water. Very good breakfasts. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great place, and good location to.

This property exceeded my very high expectations. The property is beautiful, clean, welcoming, and perfectly located for experiencing all that Ponta Delgada has to offer. Breakfast was provided daily, and was very enjoyable with lots of options both hot and cold, including a variety of local cheeses. It really was the most perfect start to the day. I would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful property for your stay, you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful architecture, bright building, nice garden. Central location. Great breakfast. Helpful staff. Our stay at Casa das Palmeiras Charming House was a very enjoyable experience.

A beautiful place to stay in a very convenient place in town.

Nous avons apprécié pouvoir laisser nos valises le matin avant de récupérer la chambre. Au départ, on nous a gentiment préparé un petit lunch et prévu un taxi puisque nous quittions avant l’ouverture du restaurant. Merci beaucoup!!

Very welcoming host in a charming place. This will now be our go to place for future stays

The only complaint is about the parking. There is limited parking available on site so had to park outside the property and then got a parking ticket.

This is a delightful hotel and lives up to its name “”Charming House”. The renovation done some years ago is very tasteful and skillful and the historic home is in excellent condition. The breakfast is served each morning with handmade pottery and nice linens, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We were told that we needed to park on the street nearby, but when we reported that there were no spaces available they made room in their small adjacent lot for us. My husband and I both felt it was a lovely place for a very reasonable price. It was a lovely introduction to the Azores.

We had the absolutely best time and were sad we had to check out after only 2 nights.

Just incredible! On arrival, Gabriela was kind, informative and polite. The hotel was so charming and beautiful, perfect in downtown and walkable to all areas in that area. Breakfast food was delicious, coffee available all day and staff was so wonderful. We will be back for a longer stay for sure!

Our stay was wonderful! All of the Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the Breakfast was so good! We would recommend this place to everyone!

Beautiful property excellent and helpful staff

The staff at Casa das Palmeiras were extremely kind, helpful, and respectful. We arrived early on our first day in Sao Miguel, and the staff let us store our luggage at the house while we waited. They were even able to move up our check-in time. Our room had an excellent view of the neighborhood below and amazing, high ceilings. There was even a thoughtful welcome snack offered as well as a bottle of water. Every morning, we were served excellent breakfast at the site, including assorted fruits and breads. The staff also directed us to safe and easy overnight parking options. Our stay at Casa das Palmeiras was truly a highlight of our trip.

Location: 9/10 Breakfast: 6/10 - Quality and quantity need improvement; - Leftovers were served the next day, and some hams were stale. Facilities: 7/10 - Nice room overall but AC didn't work - Only toiletry provided was shampoo

Quaint, cozy rooms within walking distance of everything in Ponta Delgada. Breakfast was pretty good too
