Beautiful hotel near the central plaza.

Hotel property was clean, beautiful and quiet. Only thing was, that on my last evening after hiking Fuego I returned to find my AC was broken. After notifying the front desk, the only option I was given was a portable fan :-( Other than that, the staff was friendly, property was well maintained and secure, breakfast was good, and I felt very safe and secure. The room was clean and modern. I would definitely stay again.

This was one of the most beautiful places in all of Antigua- with a gorgeous garden courtyard/fountain, chairs all around in the sun/shade. My friend and I came to have a relaxing get together and it was the perfect venue for that! We spend many hours just talking/sitting in the courtyard or on the couches around it. The breakfast that is included is great-yogurt, fruit, granola/cereal, choice of toast/bread. For a small additional cost you can have a cook to order breakfast. The rooms are beautifully decorated with old world furniture; super comfy beds/bedding and a rain shower in the bathroom. And there is A/C; a small fridge/freezer and they do have a refrigerator and microwave available for guests to use upon request. If you want a quieter room ask for one on the inside of the courtyard as the ones that front the street can get a wee bit noisier. We were there on a Tues/Wed night after a holiday weekend and Antigua was pretty quiet compared to what it is on weekends. Can’t wait to stay at Hotel Aurora again!

Location was about as perfect as can be, nice size room and staff was very helpful for restaurants, things to do, travel related stuff, highly recommend

Really lovely place and staff

Hotel Aurora was perfect for our needs. It is very centrally located and we could walk everywhere from there. The staff is also very friendly and the courtyard is beautiful.

The staff were so kind and the property very well kept and beautiful. Breakfast was basic, but very tasty. Everything was so close to this property and accessible. The bathrooms were very small and the shower drain was too small and after showers there was water on the floor. Our bathroom was more of a water closet with just enough space for the toilet and shower, though the water pressure and temperature were amazing. My only frustration was that compared to the Expedia review it was extremely inaccurate; the “deluxe” was not even an option in the actual property. The room options in Expedia vs what was available and their names were totally different.

Hotel was in a central location, which made getting around great! The courtyard and guest spaces were beautiful comfortable and quiet. A wonderful place to stay.

Great location! Rooms and courtyard very nice! Pamela in reception incredibly helpful!. Helped us with tours, transportation, answering any questions, and places to eat. Excellent English. Others working the counter were great too but Pamela worked the office area most of the 5 nights we were there. I’d stay there again.
