Lovely friendly welcome, good communication. 6 of us stayed, 4 adults, 2 children. 3 lots of stairs to get to apartment, not a problem for us but bear in mind if stairs are a problem. Great location for guiness storehouse and very central. Apartment in good condition with all the basics needed for a comfortable stay. A couple of little things, one of the blinds in the living area was shut & not able to open it as the cord was broken and there was no pole to open/shut the slats so was a bit dark in the day without the lights on. Could not find out how to use tv for digital channels, only had now tv entertainment pass so limited channels to watch especially for kids. There were no plugs in any of the sinks/bath so could only have a shower. Other than that, great place to stay for a few days in Dublin.

This is a very old and never upgraded apartment. The room heaters don’t work, the bathroom sink has separate hot and cold taps so the water does not come mixed, either all hot or all cold, an easy upgrade but its typical of the cheap fittings, the shower has been rigged so that even though there is a tub, you can’t use it since the water goes straight to shower and you have to adjust to the right temp only by standing in the shower. The cooking range is peobably 40 years old, you can’t use it for much. The only upside is that the location is close to Temple Bar and Trinity College. But if you want a great experience, this is not the place for it.

The apartment was hard to find and I was alarmed to find a shabby door on a main road as the entrance to the apartment. This is above a shop. The corridor and staircase was poorly lit and shabby and I was not comfortable staying there. The apartment needs a good spruce up and the skirting boards haven’t been cleaned in a long while and we’re thick of dust. I would not stay here again
