The location is really lovely and has a nice outside eating area.
Our room, although nice, was very small and there was no lift, which was difficult with the number of bags we had.
We had a small bar snack of olives, which were ok at £5…..and bread with Balsamico and olive oil which was disappointing, as it was two small pieces of bread with very little olive oil with the balsamico…..which for £6 for the bread was excessive.
Despite that negative comment the hotel itself is very special, for its location and history.
