A very upscale hotel. But I can’t recommend it wholeheartedly because of the room design, which features a white translucent bathroom- the bathroom lights up the whole room, is “semi-private” and not at all soundproof. The tech stuff was over the top, for better or worse, from a toilet seat that raised and lowered in response to any motion, a fancy bidet built in, variable colored lights in the shower and push button everything.
Our room was chopped, with the bathroom in the middle, and the desk by the door. There was no place to relax except the bed. So, despite the total upscale quality of the hotel, I would not go back. Also, the entry is up a set of carpeted stairs (soggy in the rain) requiring a strong arm with the luggage. The bar and restaurant are very active at night, and on the dressy side. The entry hall, which is the restaurant entrance, is dimly lit - we had to leave at 4 AM and it was hard to see and to tote down the steps.
