Overall an excellent experience!! Great hotel and exceptional staff

i am very familiar to Sweden, especially Ystad and Simrishamn, but that’s not a very important factor, when it comes to why i love that hotel. I wish there were a way to upload photos and videos to give a more detailed review. First of all, i am a big fan of antics and buildings that have been around for decades, and this building offers that sort of reach into the past vibe. The rooms and hallways are adorned with interesting portraits and posters of artists and celebrities, and it’s one of those places that still use an actual key to access the rooms (there’s a digital entry at the main entrance as well. Everything is nearby, the city hall, the train station, lots of shops and restaurants, all within 2-15 minutes from the hotel. Do not rent a car. it is simply NOT needed! I had the privilege to enjoy breakfast at one of the locations where they shot the tv series Wallander (Netflix.) My room opened into the small courtyard, and it was simply a much appreciated add-on. If you’re a writer and want to have some quiet time to chill or write…this is a place to consider. I will definitely go back, despite having the option to stay with friends and family.

This is my second time staying here while in Ystad. Perfectly located, I can’t say enough good things about Cameo. Johan the owner is fantastic and makes sure you have everything you need for a great stay. Highly recommended! Tack!

Mysigt och personligt

Bra rum

Väldigt mysigt litet hotell. Dock spindelnät på väggen innanför dörren. Iskallt rum (fick sova med två täcken). Väldigt lyhört när någon gick förbi på gågatan utanför och pratade. Gardinerna täckte inte hela fönsterna, så det blev inte helt mörkt när man skulle sova. Trevlig personal som ordnade frukost innan den egentligen öppnade, ett stort plus!

Bodde i annexet högst upp. Äldre standard på kök och badrum. Skön säng. Plus för stor soffa och tv samt att parkering ingick.

Ligger centralt i Ystad. Något speciellt då man knappt träffade personalen eller åt frukost på själva hotellet. Men ett trevligt och mysigt ställe

Supermysigt hotel med toppläge mitt på gågatan.

Bra information innan ankomst, och parkering ingick i vistelsen. Jättefint och rymligt rum, smakfullt och ombonat inrett. Fin innergård, som tyvärr inte nyttjades pga snö och snålblåst men är garanterat fantastisk vår och sommar. Helt ok frukost på intilliggande caféet.
