The hotel was under some upgrades but still a very nice place to stay the staff are very polite and we had no problems with our room or service! The pool area is indoor and was nice. The hot tub didn't work but they did send us an email before vacation which i thought was nice. They will probably have it fixed soon they said. We had lake plans anyways so no bother to us! The hotel was is walking distance from the bars/food so that was nice and there are some nice people in gaylord michigan!

Renovation

Was double charged for the room even though the lady at the front desk was told that I had used the online check in.

Hotel was in disrepair and seemed under-staffed. Don’t recommend.

Wifi was horrible at best, constantly timing out. Lobby and hallways smelled old and musty. Room smelled slightly better but still old smelling. Found items on floor left by previous guests. minimum blankets and pillows in room on the beds. Overall could use an update, fresh paint and some air fresheners

The property is extremely run down. Our room didn't have an ice bucket, cups, or coffee. The ice machine didn't work. The cabinets in our room had peeling paint.

Terrible condition. We were made aware that it was under construction but it was gross. The room was clean but the tub was stained and gross. The pool looked like a cesspool for germs. Not a good place to stay.

Great staff. Lady at the counter was working her ass off

It smelt like a decomposing body

Checked inn at front desk dark, guest grilling outside in the parking lot. went to room fridge was so loud ceiling appeared to be falling in entire hotel looked like a drug house. Did not stay did not bring our belongings to the room. Checked out. and booked a room in Petosky at the Day's Inn. Run from this place. Not safe.

The proprty is so outdated. It smelled so bad of musty mildew. Carpet coming off the walls. No iCe machines working no vending machines working. Maintanence lacking Drug deals going on out side no security cameras working fights. In general it was so ghetto and def would NEVER stay there or invite people to stay there

The place is getting repaired due to the recent storm but it’s the cheapest place around Gaylord. The room is clean and the owner is very polite with your requests.

Worst place i have ever

Room was kinda dirty the cabinets had crumbs and stuff inside if them

Drity no chair for the desk toothpaste on the sink the peep hole is missing so there is tpee shoved in it

PROPERTY WAS UNDER RENOVATIONS , NO TV ,NO INTERNET . SHOULD HAVE NOT EVEN BE TAKING GUESTS AS PER RENOVATIONS

The propy is under renovation. Hallways have no heat. My room meets standard

Couldn't check in no one was at the desk

"UNDER RENOVATION " BULL!! no heat in halls pool just broke down that day. Dark parts of the place. Out of order bathroom in lobby ice machined pool 3/4 of hotel front desk had space heaters and staff had jackets on. Homeless person hanging out in the lobby. It was like the shining movie...

The propeywas under a total renovation. There was no heat in the rooms.
