Come venie t good service and good food in restaurant

The standard of decor in some of the public areas needs refurbishing. The stairs and corridor look a little tired. My room was adequate but, unfortunately, it was located above the kitchen/restaurant in and out doors which constantly banged. The room had no view other than over the kitchen roof. The TV was thick with dust and the remote barely worked. The bathroom was dull in both lighting and spec. I know that JW Lees can be better! Unfortunately, the restaurant service was poor as the young waitress appeared to have no help whilst the restaurant was busy. I had been sitting at a table for more than 20 minutes before I even received an acknowledgement! With a small improvement in the attention to detail, the Golden Pheasant could be much better. I would return but definitely not to room!

Very nice hotel, restaurant and bar.

Room was very spacious and well equipped. I arrived a little late for food and even though the kitchen was closed they did offer to make sandwiches and chips for me which was a nice gesture. Would like to stay again as menu looked awesome.

Tranquil location set amongst the beautiful Cheshire countryside close to knutsford and lower peover and tatton park I was satisfied with the food and selection on the menu

Lovely hotel in great location, staff very friendly and helpful, rooms very clean with all necessary facilities for a great stay. Breakfast was frshly cooked to order and very tasty with good selection, serving staff we're very accommodating ans knowledgeable

Great location, friendly helpful staff, good service. The shower screen was short of the side of the bath so flooded the bathroom and soaked my towel. This definitely needs attention.

Good hotel, ideally located for a weekend with local family near Knutsford. Hotel exterior well presented Big car park /free parking. I had a large and well presented room (Room 1) which was quiet with rural views (beyond the bins !). It and the bathroom were spotlessly clean. Good quality linen and toiletries. Suggestions: - Better bedside lighting - A luggage stand and a waste paper basket in the bedroom would be helpful - Stronger and more focused lighting above the bathroom basin. - Resiting glass shelf above basin which currently loses a hazard. Excellent breakfast with good choice of options. Eggs Royal excellent. Staff friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel worked well for me and I would be happy to return.

Nice comfortable stay breaking up a long journey. Staff and locals were friendly and helpful. Had a great evening meal by the fire, a comfortable night and a good breakfast. Will definitely stay there again.
