Very friendly staff

Never have I had a stay at a hotel be as stressful and frustrating as this. When checking in, I was notified that they booked too many people and had to move us to a different hotel (lesser/motel vibes with outside door). No refund was offered upon request, they gave us some rewards points, but not enough for a free night and they could not be applied to the current stay. So, no guarantee you get the room you reserved, not even in the same building/hotel. Then they only rebooked us for 1 night instead of the original 2 night reservation. As a result, I had to visit the front desk 4 separate times to ask why I was being prompted to check out, fix our key, etc. Because they booked too many people there were no available parking spots. Multiple cars, including us, were circling the lot at midnight trying to find somewhere to park. You know it's bad when you are debating driving 3 hours home after midnight because you don't want to stay the night. If things couldn't get worse, we found a cockroach/bed bug in a shoe as we were packing up and leaving. Now we have all our things in plastic bags. Gross. So, to avoid a headache, don't book a room at either the Baymont or TravelLodge. Save yourself some trouble and find another hotel in Appleton.

Quiet, nice breakfast

It was very good, quiet

The bed was way too soft and gave me back pain. The parking lot to get there is like a minefield.

Not the worst place by any imagination, but definitely had some negatives. Had problems with the key cards multiple times. Breakfast was sad. We decided to go elsewhere the second morning. Out of the 3 bath towels one had something on it. The parking light flood light prevented the room from getting really dark at night.

2nd time here, great people location and service. Will continue coming back if I'm the area

The facility was very very loud. You can hear everything from nearby rooms and hallways. It was too loud to sleep. There was a barking dog too.

Convenient location, very clean, helpful staff, up to date facility. I would have liked handicap bars in the shower and bathroom area.

The driveway had horrible potholes and very limited parking. They allow dogs. One was barking across the hall.

Nice

Great staff, clean room, big fridge, good breakfast, but very noisy! Baby crying next door, kids running upstairs, people talking so loudly in the hall that I woke up, and so many slammed doors! I believe it was the middle door to enter without going to the desk area. Definitely needs to be slowed down or quieted somehow. Poor soundproofing throughout. Very convenient to our retreat and we didn’t have the noise problem the first time we stayed, so will try it again.

Staff was so friendly and helpful! Perfect place for a quick night's stay for my business trip!
