Very noisy at night, couldnt sleep until 5am

Well, I was supposed to have a castle view. Although technically the room was on the side of the castle, I was in a room that was on such a low floor, that all I could see was a sea of air conditioning compressors, on the roof of the lower portion of the building. As Okazaki and its Castle are a real favorite and special place for me, it was really disappointing. And it was promised, in both the reservation that I made with you guys, and by the hotel itself too. I’m including photos I took for you to see of that here.

Best hotel with valuable location Nearby Okazaki castle. Front of river. Walking distance to excellent dinner locations.

The bath was nice, but they have 2 baths and the mens (mine) was small with no view, but the ladies (my wife's) was large with a sauna and a view of the castle. Breakfast was ok, neither good or bad, but the restaurant was nice with a nice view. My room was ok, but the bathroom did smell a little ripe. a little off putting, especially as it cost me ¥25,000.

We stayed here because we couldn’t make it across to our destination (Kyoto) because of a typhoon. So we holed up here last minute. What turned out to be brilliant was the Children’s Art Museum a short drive away; amazing food, fantastic craft activities, really brilliant interactive exhibition. As for the hotel, it’s got a slightly tired business vibe. Everything is fine. Breakfast was pretty good, but it’s all a bit average. The onsen was probably the best bit. Quite smart compared to the rooms, which are quite compact (especially the bathroom) and dated.

トリプルのお部屋を2部屋利用いたしました。 なかなかトリプルのお部屋があるホテルは無いので大変助かりました。客室窓からは岡崎城が見え、朝の大浴場は残念ながら湯気で曇り外は余り見えませんでした。古いですが、大変清潔で快適に過ごせました。

せっかく綺麗なロケーションなのにお風呂のガラスが曇ってて見れませんでした💦 曇り止めなどされたらいいと思いました。

だいぶチェックインが遅れたが、普通に対応してくれた。

初日に下水の匂い、2日目には修理していただけました。受付スタッフについては清潔感への意識が低いと感じました

共同浴場が最高

築年数は古いと思うが、綺麗に保たれていて非常に良かった！値段もリーズナブルでまた利用したいと思う
