Clean room, typical Japanese room size (not too small but not spacious). Convenient location. Parking could be limited even though they said hotel guests have priority. They have additional offsite parking partnerships if parking is full.

This hotel is a great location next to Himiji train station - just walk out and 3” walk to hotel; The rooms are small and dated thus the 4 star review; Breakfast had enough options, dining room - had a very good dinner; Public baths are tight with a lot of people using them; Staff was very polite and helpful;

Perfect place for ur stay in Himeji. The hotel is excellent and comfortable. The facility, for example the sauna is great. Also, the hotel staff is is very friendly and treat ur request likes the ones from their friends or family. Highly recommend.

Excellent location close to everything, friendly efficient staff. We arrived early and our room was ready.

The staff are extremely professional and helpful. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the train station and about 15 minutes to Himeji Castle and Kokoen gardens. Shopping all around the train station as well. We were fortunate to get a room with a view of the castle which lights up at night.

This is our favourite hotel in Himeji. Convenient to the train station, local shops and bus transportation. Rooms are comfortable and staff are professional and helpful. The property is aging a bit but still retains its old elegance and glamour. The breakfast venue on the top floor with its chandeliers and view of Himeji Castle is a highlight. The breakfast selection is exceptional at this price level. I especially like the public bath. Although small, it is elegant and relaxing, The attendant is always polite and helpful. The hotel has three main entrances and a system of elevators which takes a bit of getting used to but I have gotten to see this as part of the charm of the hotel. During our last five day stay, our breakfast location was moved to the main hall downstairs due to rennovations on the top floor. I am looking forward to the results next time I visit this hotel!
