Great little stay for the night. Hot showers, warm heating, comfy beds and little extras like slipper and toothbrushes. Staff at check in very helpful.

Great place to stay. It has all you need.

Very clean and well presented place. Huge king size bed and super comfortable. Complimentary water was also great. Air con was fantastic to walk into. Located centrally to everything you need. Very short drive to restaurants and sovereign Hill. Across the road there's a outdoor pool and playground. Very child friendly.

We enjoyed our one night stay, finding the staff welcoming and helpful. The area was quiet, and not far from the city centre. The property looked to have changed hands recently, as facilities were being upgraded.

Located not too far from the main city area. Quite and peaceful place. Bed was very comfortable and the unit was very well presented. Check in was very easy and the host very nice. The best part the heater was on so it was very warm in the room.

Was there for work, no issues, clean stay, easy access

We had a short stop over night before leaving very early the next day (5:30am). It was clean and comfortable however the shower dripped constantly and this kept me awake. I ended up putting face washers in the base of the shower to deaden the noise. It was a very quiet neighbourhood and the Indian restaurant right next door was delicious.

Overnight return trip to Ballarat & The Miner's Retreat Hotel was very comfortable with great service as always. Many thanks

People from The room next to us were very loud and disturbed our sleep. It would be good if you can walls with noise cancellation or something to ensure noise travelling is minimum as the rooms are together

Was nice and clean but the bed was like a concrete slab

The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The location is good as not far from the town.

The beds are great and bathrooms have been renovated but wish they had microwaves in rooms

Doona thrown up and bed not made. Bathroom not cleaned. No microwave. Generally place is dilapidated. Would never recommend it to anyone.
