The Motel is nice, we had many problems getting into our room as the door was locked and key did not work. It was hard to find the room and you were on your own getting there. There could have been coffee in the common area? The restaurant is amazing with wonderful food staff and seating.

We enjoyed our stay at the Drake Devonshire and Motor Inn. Friendly and efficient staff at the Inn and restaurant made the stay pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, nice amenities including a tablet to help search for things to do in and around the county. WiFi was available and worked, but a bit slow. WiFi being important since the cellular signals in the area was weak. We enjoyed breakfast (twice) and dinner at the inn. Quality, taste and presentation of the meals were excellent. As we drove over 360km in an Electric Vehicle (EV), the availability of EV charging stations was important. Use was on a first come first serve basis, which worked fine for us, however, one of the two EV charging stations was out of service, potentially making this a challenge if many visitors were at the Inn with EVs. The Inn is well located in Wellington, very close to a grocery store, sandwich, coffee and ice cream shops as well as some art and antique shops in the area. Overall a very positive experience.

For the price, the service level is just not there, nor is the room cleanliness. There was black mold in the shower, spider webs and dust on shelves.

A beautiful hotel in PEC and close by to wineries, fantastic restaurants, local cocktail bars. The property is fantastic for a girls trip weekend!

We loved this cute funky little hotel. It is apart of the “Drake Devonshire” but it is up the street on its own, more quaint and quiet, and is seriously dog friendly! When we checked in our room was equipped with 2 dog bowls and a cute pack of treats for him. We will certainly be back!

The room itself was really modern, large and clean. We stayed in the flat. Very nice. However, when I booked the room, I didn’t realize that this room was not located in the Drake Devonshire property. It’s actually up the street. Not waterfront. That’s on me for not researching thoroughly, I guess. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was a lovely setting and the food and drinks were very good. The service was excellent also. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Great town for short stay

A picturesque and peaceful location on the shores of Lake Ontario. There was ample parking on site with a small stream passing under a walkway to the sauna close by. Our room was charming and comfortable with a walkout balcony and seating facing west, overlooking the stream and lake. A perfect place to view the sunset while having a relaxing discussion of the day's activities and a glass of wine. Several indoor and outdoor activities were available, including a ping pong table and a table hockey game, beside a comfortable sitting room with a warm fireplace. The restaurant was spacious with spectacular views of the beach and extensive Lake Ontario. The service was friendly and the food was excellent. Our visit was too brief, however, we left completely rejuvenated, pleased with our stay, and looking forward to returning later in the year.

Will not be coming back. The food and restaurant staff were good, and the room was nice with a comfortable bed. However, the room was beside part of the kitchen. It was extremely loud with slamming doors until almost midnight, and started up again both Saturday and Sunday mornings at 4:45am. We did advise staff and they said they could clear the area, they certainly didn’t seem surprised by the complaint so I suspect this isn’t a unique issue. They did get the staff to stop after 20 minutes, but it didn’t stop them from starting again a few hours later. If you value a good sleep on vacation this isn’t the place for you!
