Extremely small room. Having to carry 2 20kg suitcases to room up very steep stairs with no staff assistance. A hairdryer that almost electrocuted my wife

The most charming and beautiful little place in Paraty with gorgeous colonial style rooms. Perfectly located close to the beach, canal, and city center. Accommodating staff and delicious breakfast.

The staff was always keen to help, specially when my daughter had an zoom interview for a job in the middle of our holiday and one spare room with a desk was avaliable for her.

The public area is more wonderful and very well designed, the rooms were plain, not great. But the biggest problem is the service, the front desk lady was the worst. She said we had to pick a boat trip that day for the next day, and tried charge us over twice the price! She said she'd send the link, when she didn't we just walked over to the port after she gave us the wrong directions. We selected a boat and when we got on she kept texting me in capitals on WhatsApp what boat we were on. When I asked why she said she was worried about us. No doubt it was for commission. I never told her. Then the next day when we left the hotel she sent us a picture of a shattered TV and sai we broke it. When I pointed out that the layout of the room was not the same of as as ours and that wasn't even our room, instead of apologizing she just didn't reply. Judging by this I really wonder about her stability if they fire her, I would reconsider this hotel despite the plain rooms. Terrible experience.

The location was the only thing good. All the rest was below mediocre. Breakfast very poor, the room was dirty with walls full of stains and mold. The bed clothing in doubtful conditions.

Good: great location, very nice staff, good buffet breakfast. Not good: cleanliness has to improve!! my room was on the ground floor with very little light, a broken window which could not close (hence mosquitos), the fridge was smelly and noisy, the bathroom very old. For the price I paid (€70/night) I would have expected much better. Too bad, because this lovely house has a huge potential…

Excellent location, just some steps to the historic center of Paraty and very close to the beach from the same point. Building is very old but with some refurbishments. Everything works fine. Cleaning could be better. There were some mosquitoes in our room every night, but we are in Paraty...

This a beautiful and historic pousada right next to the historic center of town. This is not a super modern building or place so things are a little bit basic which makes it so charming. The staff there were super friendly and helpful. We loved our stay there!

Excellent location and we loved the staff who were very nice. The breakfast and additional afternoon tea were also great, we would recommend this place!

Pontos positivos: Localização ao lado do centro histórico, limpeza, café da manhã simples mas bom. Quarto com frigobar e ar condicionado funcionando bem. Pontos negativos: Quarto muito pequeno e apertado, pedi cama de casal, mas juntaram 2 de solteiro, internet não chega bem no quarto e na recepção não estava funcionando. Tivemos problemas com a vaga de estacionamento, pois saí com o carro e quando retornei não haviam mais vagas disponiveis. A atendente pediu para ficar com a chave, mas não havia alguém disponivel para manobrar, caso houvesse necessidade de retirar o veiculo.

Localização é o ponto forte da hospedagem. Café da manhã e os quartos estão no padrão de hospedagens muito mais baratas em Paraty. O quarto que fiquei ficava na parte de baixo e as pessoas passavam falando alto e muito barulho. Escada ao lado barulhenta também. Estacionamento tinha mais carro que vagas. Ficamos impedidos de usar o carro por uma noite pois estava bloqueando e não tinham a chave.
