There was mold on the bathroom windows. The heating unit in one of the rooms was leaking water. Took about 1 day to fix the heating so had quite a cold first night at the apartment as well as ice cold showers. The room we had was the far back and the light would flicker and sometimes would shut off completely for like about 30 minutes. Cooking utensils were lacking, no kettle for heating water, and not enough utensils in general. The bathroom had a bath and shower, but no shower screen so had to sit down to shower. The internet was also pretty glitchy where it would slow down or not work at all and had to keep logging back in to connect to the wifi. Also the apartment didn't feel like an apartment due to the small entrance hall area and the timed lighting where we had to turn back on the light frequently. The beds were ok... my complaint would be the blankets, as they were not big enough to cover my feet which made the nights feel colder. Customer service was a bit lacking as there was no front desk at all to give us information or help with all these problems. The overall quality of furniture/beds was a 2/5. Overall experience was a 3, but lack of communication, lack of clarity on website about the rooms, lack of kitchen utensils and the hygiene of the utensils when we arrived was questionable making this experience much harder to give a better review. Also the mold in the bathroom was definitely unacceptable to have when providing an accommodation.

It was clean, and the host family was friendly. However, the mattress was very worn, the pillow uncomfortable (of course, that's a matter of taste), and it smelled really musty. This is probably due to the old furniture and carpets. The breakfast was okay, but unfortunately, there were no pretzels. A shame. The price is too high for what was offered. You can get significantly more for your money elsewhere, even in vacation regions.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed and blinded by the many positive reviews. We stayed here as a family for two nights for a wedding. I don't mind older furnishings, but it was unkempt, unloved, and smelled terribly. It's also misleading to think it's a guesthouse. Aside from the lackluster breakfast, there was nothing. We've stayed in guesthouses in the Alpine foothills several times and find the room rates overpriced.

The room was good and very clean. Breakfast was offered "to go" and the nearest shopping option is a cute little shop in the village or 2km to the next village.
