The staff were all very friendly and tried to be helpful. However when we arrived there was no one in reception and we had to wait 10 mins before someone turned up. When we arrived at our room which was large spacious and generally clean, there was no kettle to make tea. There was fecal material in the toilet bowl. Upon walking down two flights of stairs I was told to get hot water fro the coffee machine. Eventually a kettle was found. Evening meal basic but good. Breakfast poor overcooked bacon and very salty.

A wonderful boutique hotel in a fantastic location. The receptionists were cheerful, the cooks awesome and the cleaning attendant was very caring, always looking out for me.

Warm, welcoming and helpful staff only letdown was the size of twin beds, never slept on something so narrow

Shower tray was cracked and trap was blocked with hair. Gutter above window was blocked and dripping constantly.

Nice hotel Only note is it is a three story walkup with no lift service but a very nice hotel.

Breakfast and staff were fantastic. Check in was smooth. We found free parking around the corner on Murray street. Great location.

Breakfast was great and staff is friendly but rooms next to the street prepare not to sleep since the windows don’t stop the all night chatter in the streets. Also mattresses were a bit tired so you end up in a middle in a hole

The receptionist couldn't have been any more helpful, even climbing the stairs to the top floor despite being 6 months pregnant. Room was beautiful and very comfortable. Bar staff were lovely.

Hotel is excellent and would stay again. Location great, rooms fabulous, shower fantastic, service excellent too. Only dislike was the cooked breakfast.

Lovely hotel, great location. Room was very hot. We complained as a few of thought the sausages at breakfast were off. The server told us they were from the butchers the day before, but that didn’t mean they were fresh! I would have expected the dishes to be taken away but we were left sitting in front of them until we left.

The hotel is lovely and staff were very helpful the only thing was the smell of curry in the reception and restaurant even our towels smelt of curry. The breakfast could have been better food was overcooked and not appetizing.

Wonderful setting in St Andrews. Newly remodeled rooms. Busy part of town and lots to see and do. Very convenient to all St. Andrews has to offer. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

We were allocated a studio room on the annex. We are in our 70s and had to walk up two very lengthy staircases to get to our room which was a converted loft room . We were first down for breakfast and I ordered the full breakfast and a number of items were reheated .I developed a stomach reacted next day .Won’t be going back!

Perfect hotel close to the old course and many restaurants and pubs in town. I would definitely stay here again. Staff was wonderful, courteous and knowledgeable.

Stayed at another property (high end) during the first part of my trip and the accommodations herein were better... Staff could not have been more helpful - special shout out to Lucy...
