My wife and I had an amazing two night stay at this property everything was perfect the host was wonderful and couldn’t do enough to make your stay as enjoyable as possible really enjoyed our two days will be returning!

Excellent host

Great location for a quiet, peaceful sleep. Local pub within walking distance, a torch is requird of late. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful, cereal, yogurt, cooked breakfast, toast etc.

Really well run b and b breakfast was spot on with all the choice you could want. Will be back.

Easy to find with satnav with good vehicle access and parking. Set well back from a main road in a beautiful two acre garden, there was not traffic noise. Rooms were very well appointed and every detail carefuly thought out to make your stay perfect. Breakfast menu was exceptional with choices to suit even the fussiest person. Perfectly placed for anyone visiting the aviation museum. I will most certainly stay here again.

We had a really lovely short break at White Cottage. The room was comfortable and well equipped, Ellen obviously makes sure that you have everything you could possibly need .The fridge in the lobby with milk and water that you can help yourself to is a great touch and very convenient. The dining room is welcoming and the breakfast is plentiful, you couldn’t wish for more. I would highly recommend White cottage, Ellen is a lovely friendly host.

Absolutely fabulous

As always we rate our stays 20 out 10! We can not find any faults. Ellen is a lovely super cheerful lady always laughing! The food is excellent, eggs come from her chickens and ducks. Believe she grows most foods in their garden. A soothing oasis of calm

Spent one night here with my family. The property and hoists excided my expectations. On arrival we were meet by the hoist who showed us around. We were fortunate, to be able to book all 3 rooms. They were super clean, environmentally friendly, very comfortable and quite. The lounge was large with a conservatory. There was a fridge in the hallway with a supple of fresh milk and fresh water for us to use. There was a variety of tea and coffee to make in the room and extra in the hallway, if needed. The breakfast was excellent consisting of orange juice, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit, jam, toast and of course a cooked English breakfast. We certainly did not leave feeling hungry. Thank you so much for making us welcome. We highly recommend this cottage and will be staying here again in the future.

Lovely location. Peaceful and quiet, on the outskirts of the village. Ellen and Steve we very welcoming hosts and provided excellent service during our stay. Lovely garden room, comfy bed, great shower in the bathroom!
