Hotel is in a quiet area, but close to shops and amenities, including the Burrell Collection. Staff very friendly and helpful. Superior room was spacious, bed comfortable, bathroom and shower excellent; pity about the view (of the roof ac ducting). Grounds nice to sit in; food very good .

Excellent place to stay and dine. Good location with plenty of parking and lots of public transport options nearby. The staff are extremely helpful. Comfortable, clean well appointed rooms with great amenities. Could do with aircon though. The food and menu choice is superb very tasty and beautifully presented meals. Thank you team Dalmeny.

Excellent hotel. Great service from check.in to meals and check-out, can't fault this place. Rooms clean and comfortable ad foox was excellent for evening meal and breakfast. Well worth a visit. Will definitely return.

Stayed here previously and enjoyed the experience and glad to say the quality and service is exactly the same, top notch. Excellent room with great amenities this one even had a whirl spa bath. The menu is great and the food is superbly presented and so delicious and the service is excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed staying and have already booked back in. Nice quiet location lots of safe onsite parking. Promised I would mention the breakfast servers Norma and Terri who do a superb job.

The last few times I have been there they allow non electric cars to park at their public charge points Spoke to the GM who showed little interest and blamed the owners I pointed out that they were public charge points and he didn’t know that I asked if they could monitor it and ask customers to move and he said no he couldn’t but would write to the owners and express my views 🤔Incidentally the rest of the staff are very good !!!

Friendly and really nice hotel

Last minute booking, very good value, very late check in (11.30pm) Night porter expecting us, helped with bags, room lovely and warm. Bed amazingly comfortable, and bathroom so clean you could eat dinner in there. (Joking) Breakfast included in price, staff very helpful. Full scottish breakfast, and changes to it no problem. This is a hotel we have stayed at previously and would stay again and again. The restaurant is also fantastic We are here now sheltering from storm Eowyn. The staff are very attentive, but right now, there are no guests in any public areas, and the staff are patrolling the hotel and grounds looking for storm damage. They have staff ready to make repairs where necessary. Personally i think this is amazing

Great hotel and great say however customer service could do with being reviewed to prevent me being stalked for a dinner bill that I was told had been paid 3 times

Lovely hotel and staff, really friendly. Beautiful building. As its older, the soundproofing isnt the best between rooms. Otherwise no issue at all, would definitely go back there

Lovely hotel, good food and service,Trying not to be biased as they upgraded my room to a suite and it was amazing. had an evening meal and drinks , all good. Nice breakfast [a little small] but good. Would definitely stay again, upgrade or not.
