Great service, we have stayed a few times now and it is one of our favourites!

Lovely place nice people & staff unfortunately not a great experience in dinner restaurant perhaps overly busy due to a wedding (2 attempts at getting a bread roll with my soup that were not as hard as hockey pucks gave up in end & the katsu had a missing side dish which took 10 mins to appear so half way through meal by time it came). Would stay again but dine out next time.

Good food

My hotel of choice when I go to Glasgow. The staff are helpful, rooms are clean, comfy and well maintained. The only thing it needs is air conditioning in the rooms. The food is delicious with a superb menu for evening meals and tasty breakfast. Terri the breakfast server really looks after you. Jack was excellent at the being meals. Thank you.

Very spacious modern room with a comfortable bed

The stay should have been excellent. Room 109 was large , spotless and looked quite recently renovated. The staff were friendly and breakfast was excellent. However, there is a monstrosity of a kitchen extractor, easily 12 feet long and 6 flt high directly outside the window , the biggest I’ve ever encountered in all my hotel stays . The noise could be heard in the corridor outside room 109 and inside the room it was unacceptable. I was told that it would stop at 9 pm and start at 7am . It did not stop at 9pm and started again at 6.30am . Each staff member agreed that it was out of order to have this outside a bedroom. But yet they continue to sell room 109 as a superior room! The duty manager agreed too . He offered to arrange a voucher by way of acknowledgement. I have not received the voucher yet. All in all a ruined stay that could have been perfect it a suitable alternative room had been offered.

Great hotel, can't really fault it. I booked very late on the same day for work purposes and they called to let me know a wedding was on and my room was directly over it, they offered to waive any fees if i were to cancel which I appreciated. I went anyway but it's great communication by the hotel to call and mention the wedding, The noise in the room was crazy, but it died down at 10:30 and stopped completely at 11pm so not bad and I was warned so no complaints there. The room itself was very comfortable and spacious, had a great night's sleep in the bed and the rain shower was great. I had dinner and breakfast here and both were very good. Overall, highly recommended and I will be back!

Rooms were very comfortable; food was interesting, varied and well presented. Afternoon tea - outstanding! The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Excellent place to stay - though a bit overwhelming with weddings on both the days we were there!!

It was an amazing experience to stay in this beautiful hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and room was beautiful. Would’ve loved to stay longer . Just remember to come back before they lock their main entrance at night

The hotel was beautiful Georgian style. The Kintyre suite was spacious and the bed was very very comfortable. The jacuzzi bath was a great treat. Hotel staff were friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was perfect, lots of options ( nice brown bread) and honey! The general atmosphere was relaxed. Not too far from Stirling and the Highlands were we ventured to next..
