Central location close to shopping and the old town. Perfect for a solo traveller

Close to the old town, beach. If you're a shopper it would be heaven.

This was a very basic, small room with a bathroom with shower. It is in a great location— easy walk to the beach, many restaurants, & shopping. It also had a balcony that was big enough to sit in. The staff was not very responsive on messaging. I sent a couple of messages that weren’t ever answered. It also says that they have someone in “reception” most of the day, but I never saw a reception area. When I arrived at the time I told them, no one was there to meet me and I didn’t see any reception desk/office. They came about 30 minutes later.

In the heart of it. Would stay again!

This was a great base for exploring San Sebastian. It's just a couple of minutes from the old town, the beach and Downtown. The staff were helpful and the room was well-equipped and comfortable. The only slight downside was that clearly a child lives above and with the hard wood floors, I could hear them running up and down - not a big problem as they went to bed early!

Booked for 3 nights, left after 2. Can hear everything going on in other rooms, and I mean everything!

The Pension Urkia is in an excellent location: it is walking distance to the beach, shopping, bars and restaurants. Our balcony had a wonderful view of the street. The bed was a bit firm, but everything else was pleasant.

Everything was fine except for the fact the noise was unreal. All night long banging of doors. Every morning at 7 AM there is a school below you and the talking begins every day. So loud that you could hear them inside your room with windows closed and music playing. A solid night sleep was impossible there. I almost went crazy. Only book if you are there for one night only

great place. We had room 1 on the first floor, and it was wonderful. Comfortable bed, a balcony overlooking the street, compact but good bathroom with plenty of warm water. The location couldn't be better. Literally steps from the boardwalk to the beach and three minutes walking to old town. Juan Mari has created his own food map of the area (excellent) and is an unabashed fan of his city. Across the street is a grocery store which is really helpful. Nothing was more than a fifteen minute walk from the room, most everything was much closer.
