Fantastic location , aircon and good base for beach, old town. Would recommend

Great location, very clean rooms with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The best things about Urkia are the location and the bed. Our room was tiny and felt a lot like IKEA., The street outside was really noisy until the wee hours and the walls are thin. But our experience was saved by the fact that the bed was amazing and the guest house is just a few blocks from the main beach. Since we don’t spend a lot of time in our room, it was all fine and cost-effective given the going rates in a resort destination Also, you get a discount at La Perla spa by virtue of being at Urkia. Take advantage of that offer. The aquatic therapy is fantastic for men and women.

Comfortable room, good value. Central location. Air conditioning worked great.

The hotel was in a good location and close by to alot of shops and restaurants. The hotel is in an apartment block and it was rather difficult to get into and we did not feel happy leaving the bags as we checked in early as there was no where to keep them and then no one on reception. The walls were paper thin and you could hear every little bit of noise from people in other rooms. The room was clean however if you want to sleep on a night I would not for a busy day ahead I would not recommend.

Leaking toilet and leaking AC. Wifi dropped often.

This property isn’t a perfect location. Clean and cozy. Truly enjoyed my stay here.

This is a No Frills, basic kind of place to stay. Even though there is an elevator, you will have to climb a few stairs because the elevator is situated between floors so you either have to go down a few steps or up a few steps. Not a problem for me but it might be for some. The place is very clean, and if you have an inside room it’s very quiet. Plenty of hot water, so the shower was very nice. The towels are very thin. Well located near the beach

Good location and staff is very friendly. However it is very warm in the room with the comforter at night. Would be great to have a sheet on the bed to help regulate temperature apart from the comforter.

Central location close to shopping and the old town. Perfect for a solo traveller

Close to the old town, beach. If you're a shopper it would be heaven.

This was a very basic, small room with a bathroom with shower. It is in a great location— easy walk to the beach, many restaurants, & shopping. It also had a balcony that was big enough to sit in. The staff was not very responsive on messaging. I sent a couple of messages that weren’t ever answered. It also says that they have someone in “reception” most of the day, but I never saw a reception area. When I arrived at the time I told them, no one was there to meet me and I didn’t see any reception desk/office. They came about 30 minutes later.

In the heart of it. Would stay again!
