We loved this property and the owner was so nice and easy to communicate with. The location is perfect if you are taking the Finsness ferry, otherwise it's a very small town. We arrived on a Sunday night and virtually nothing was open, but there was one restaurant the owner recommended that was very good. We went swimming lol - super cold but fun! The on-site washer/dryer was great. My only request was for a few more coffee mugs - there were only two.

LOVED this stay!!! Incredible what’s been done with that building and the ingenuity of decor and tech. Top stay for us in Northern Norway.

This property has been beautifully renovated and provides every modern amenity (except AC, which is pretty much non-existent in Scandinavian countries). It is EXCEPTIONALLY clean. The laundry area was also really useful for us. I was expecting the location to be more "touristy" based on the pics, but it's actually located in the back of a commercial/industrial area, and about 45 min drive to the more popular/touristy areas of Senja.

This was an amazing apartment that looked like it was newly renovated. Such a beautiful building and nice patio overlooking the water. Had a nice fridge, stove and everything you need to cook yourself. Only stayed one night but this I would highly recommend this spot.

Updated and clean but could hear people walking around above us all night. Very convenient though and pretty spot to stay one night.

After a long week trip in Senja and on our way back home, my wife and I decided to spend another 1 night stay at Finsnes Gaard. I recommend it very much, the flexibility and convenience made it all too easy and flexible. Also, the use of their laundry facilities made our trip home so much more easier. Thank much Finsnes Gaard!

Very clean room, we enjoyed our stay here, although the kitchen can be even better equipped and the curtains were not black-out - a problem during the midnight sun season. The duvets they provided were too warm for the end of May season

The view is amazing with good outside space (not for small children due to waters edge). Very close to supermarket so convenient for self catering. Shower very powerful and referbished shower area nice. Quality of furniture and beds very old. Bedding very good. Kitchen equipment not clean and no wood for the fire as in description (we were told it was due to referbishment of the old house) you can buy wood at the supermarket which we did.. crockery and cutlery selection of mismatched items but enough. There is a washing machine which description did not mention so a bonus. Good WiFi. Overall ok but in need of a refresh for the price.

Place badly needs new curtains. In my three week trip in Norway this place had the lightest room at night easily. Curtains are white which fills the room with light closer to summer solstice. It’s an older house so I wasn’t expecting things to be perfect but that should be a super easy thing to upgrade/replace

Automatic check-in was easy but not that personal. Would be nice to meet the host of the house. The place is otherwise charming and modern but the bathroom is really old-fashioned and the shower floods every time you use it. The terrace by the sea is great but unfortunately the view is not that beautiful to every direction

THis is the fifth time I stay in these sea cabins at Finsnes Gård. Fantastic place where you have your very own quay (KAI in Norwegian), yet only two minutes walk from the largest supermarket in town. I will absolutely return next time I am in the region.

I'm planning on writing a letter to the Orbitz/Expedia management about this stay. The property owners were very sweet and nice. However, the experience was mediocre. Take a look at the pic to the left. All you see are the beautiful cottages. When you read about the property description it doesn't speak about the 200 year house BEHIND the cottages. Therefore, its a bait and switch. I arrived and found this 200 year old home had three levels and my parents are in their 80's and we're on the 3rd floor with no elevator (obviously) and steep, windy steps that no one over 80 should be climbing. This is what should be described to prospective clients. Again, the property managment/owners were very nice and they changed my accommodation. I do hope Finsnes Gaard and Orbitz updates the description and pics to make it accurate as I would never have booked this had i known i was staying on the 3rd floor of an old 200 year old house. Thank you

I absolutely loved this booking, I had a east facing apartment which had a lovely view, maseter bedroom and bunk bed room. The kitchen was equipped with everything you might need and the over all feeling was cozy and very clean. Can’t wait to be back. Owners were very nice and responsive.

Good view. A bit tough to find especially if it’s after sunset. Cabin almost perfect except we can’t find heaters in the 2 bedrooms on ground floor and it’s like chillers. So, we end up sleeping on the long couches in living room and bed upstairs.
