A bit old, room smells a little musty. But over all great for the price and quite comfortable.

If people complain about ‘no window’ in the room, (only window on the wrong side) they can still live with it if just few days with the personable service by the wonderful staff! So centrally located - opposite the post office, council office, tourist information centre, only 200m from police station, Greyhound bus stop, shops….. They are expanding! Hopefully the new motel rooms have windows ! Thank you Lisa and Andrew! I felt safe here.

Great little place to stop over. It’s central, so easy to get around town. Very clean. Quiet and safe. Bar right there with good service. No meals, but you can eat at the many outlets on the main street.

******WARNING******* WHEN BOOKING, READ THE FINE PRINT I have been waiting years and saving on a disability pension to get out to see Longreach. It was a perfect time, especially with little money, to support the towns and businesses that have been doing it tough. I booked and paid full price for a room early this morning in good faith. It was for the 19th - 21st May. During the day I felt a tad off and decided to do a covid test. My worst fears was the outcome. I rang the motel and informed them the situation. the reception told me, " because I didn't give notice 4 weeks prior, NO REFUND" $400 down and straight into their pockets, making double on the booking no doubt. I pleaded, even asking for a partial refund. The reply " we empathise with you" they don't know what empathise means. The respective Australian governments should crack down on this practice. I'm not alone in what's happened and happening. This Rip off business has taken my money and other money I would have spent in Longreach. Maybe take a good look at yourselves and share your empathy with the people who have missed out!

Paying $155 per night for a room in this hotel is a complete rip off. The floors where so dirty, stain on one bed sheet. No shampoo etc in the bathroom, the large shower head was so blocked up there was barely any water coming out. Beer prices in the bar where $1.30 dearer then the pub across the road. Very disappointing all round...
