The hotel is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately the reception services are among the worst ones anyone can experience. I tried to reach out the hotel for hours to inform them we were arriving with a delay. Nobody picked up the phone or assisted us. We ended up taking a different room by mistake. We tried to call the next morning. The reception was unreachable both on landline and mobile. Even talking to hotels.com it was impossible to reach them. The hotel is excellent. The service is not ok.

Beautiful setting, lovely room & very good breakfast. Very handy for Weeze Airport & lots to see & do in the area. Staff very pleasant & helpful with just one unfortunate exception.

Beautiful setting, great for walking and pictures. Close to town. This is my kind of place. Scenic, historic, rural and quiet.

Extreme heat and spiders. In the Top 5 worst hotel stays we've ever had. Unfortunately we happened to stay at Schloss Wissen Hotellerie during unusually warm weather, which I am not holding against them in my review. Our actual, authentic experience would warrant a 1.5 star review. We were the only ones attempting to check in and yet it still managed to take them a solid 15-20 minutes to complete the process. During that time, the 2 staff members we were dealing with were quick to point out that Weeze is nowhere near Dusseldorf and that Ryan Air essentially misrepresents the airport by attaching Dusseldorf anywhere in the name. Maybe they thought they were being helpful (or maybe they were trying to get us to just spend the day at the castle), but they wildly exaggerated (like doubled) the travel time and difficulty of getting into the city. The hotel, like many in this part of Europe, is NOT air-conditioned. This is clear on the listing. What is not clear is that they apparently do not have electric fans readily available for guests to use, even in warmer months. We had to coax the staff into letting us use the one (tiny) electric fan they had somewhere. To their credit, we were permitted to use it...but it shouldn't have been an ordeal.The bedroom we were placed in is on the second floor, and hot air rises....so do spiders. We spent the next week of our vacation itching the spider bites we acquired in the 2-3 hours of sleep we got that night. Our taxi pickup was late.

Great location close to the castel. Room was very nice and well equipped. Good service and sympathetic company. However not being in the castel itself and no restaurant for dinner is a disadvantage.

Omgeving was zeer goed maar de kamers waren zeer luidruchtig door de bovenburen!!!! Wij zijn er maar 1 nacht geweest daar wij een vroege vlucht hadden maar helaas niet veel kunnen slapen door de zeer gehorige kamers,voor ons maar eenmalig!!!

Zeer goed. Rustig gelegen, schitterende ambiance. Kamers en appartementen gelegen bij het kasteel, allemaal met een historische touch. Alle kamers zijn vernoemd naar de familie Von Loe. Mooie badkamer, goede bedden. Onze kamer was uitgerust met een kitchenette inclusief koffie- en theefaciliteiten. Schoon en zeer netjes. Dichtbij vliegveld Weeze, in verband met een vroege vlucht geen ontbijt genoten. Ook het restaurant zag er zeer goed uit. We hebben met jongere kinderen toch gekozen om elders te dineren. We komen graag nog terug op deze sfeervolle locatie, een nacht was tekort.

Sehr gepflegtes Ambiente in den "Gesindehäusern" des angrenzenden Wasserschlosses. Modern und hochwertig renoviert. Abgelegene ruhige Lage außerhalb des Ortes. Sehr freundlicher Empfang.

Das Zimmer war ok aber nicht Comfort. Eine Gardine war an den Aufhängern abgerissen. Die Bettwäsche war nicht hochwertig sondern normal. Die Rezeption ist Montag vormittag nicht besetzt.

Es war ein sehr schönes Wochenende ! Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und zuvorkommend bedient. Das Zimmer war klein, aber fein. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Abendessen im Vis a vis war vorzüglich ! Ein wunderschönes Anwesen mit viel Charme. Nur zu empfehlen!

Die Unterkunft auf Schloss Wissen war schön. Wir hatten ein Apartment, was gut ausgestattet war und man als gehobener bezeichnen kann. Das Preis /Leistungsverhältnis war angemessen. Es wäre wünschenswert gewesen, etwas mehr integriert in das eigentliche Schloss zu sein. In anderen Schlössern befindet sich ein Restaurant oder ähnliches, somit kann man auch mal in das Schloss rein. Ansonsten tolle Umgebung und ein wundervoller Tierpark in der Nähe. Gute Restaurants und das Schloss ist relativ zentral gelegen. In der Stadtmitte gibt es einige Möglichkeiten zum Essen auszugehen. Keine anderen Geschäfte.

Die Lage ist super. Nicht weit vom Flughafen. Ruhig. Wunderschön

Très beau château, mais on loge dans les dependances bien réaménagées. La chzmbre est un peu vieillotte mais la sdb est très bien. Bon buffet petit déjeuner avec de bons produits sans emballage inutile.

Fantastische plek, een wonderlijk mooie locatie die we ons hele leven blijven herinneren.

Super Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Zimmer sind sehr Liebevoll eingerichtet. Sehr gute Matratzen. Alles Tip Top sauber. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
