The location was excellent

A charming boutique hotel in central Setubal. Just across the boulevard from Old Town section which has plenty of restaurants, shops, etc., and only a couple of blocks from the indoor fresh market (quite extraordinary and worth a visit). Place has a wonderfully friendly and accommodating staff, and a great breakfast laid out each morning. Very artfully appointed decor, all a bit quirky and interesting in the best possible way.

Staff super friendly and helpful, room was nice and breakfast buffet great. Nice to see some art on the walls and the hotel has good bikes to hire and a good central location. Would stay there again when visiting Setúbal but would be useful to have a luggage room for golf bags or similar on the ground floor as there are no lifts.

The hotel's location was very convenient and we found ourselves enjoying the walk down the boulevard many times during our stay. The staff was especially helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our time in Setubal.

Rio Art Hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Setúbal. It is clean, creative in its art and design, and modern. It is close to the downtown area of restaurants and shops. Our room was big, light and comfortable. A welcome drink, a small bottle of wine in our room was a nice touch as well. Breakfast was just outside our door, delicious and varied. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. Kind, helpful, and welcoming. We loved our 2-day stay and highly recommend it.

Very spacious room, super clean, nice design and a very comfortable bed besides super friendly and attentive staff. Just the traffic noise was a bit annoying but with ear plugs easy to fix. Highly recommended also for the central location.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly, welcoming and always available. Temp control in the room was a bit of a challenge (it takes a half hour for instructions to register). Morning breakfast had a good variety to meet all needs.

Awesome boutique hotel, great value, very nice well-sized and appointed rooms with new finishes, and wonderful breakfasts. Staff were very welcoming, service oriented, and gave excellent advice on restaurants and attractions in the town. Comments about no elevators unfounded, staff offered to carry bags up and down. Pics and comments don’t do the hotel justice, more of a 4+ star establishment, certainly not the 3 stars it markets itself as.

A nice cozy hotel. We enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Deogo, when we needed the instruction for different destinations, he studied it and wrote down a detailed introduction for us. Saved us a lot of time and effort. We really appreciate it!
