The hotel is quite close to the station in Takayama, about a 10-minute walk to the Valor supermarket. The facilities are very complete—there’s even a private onsen and free ice cream.

A very nice hotel to stay in. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and spoke English well. Communication wasn't difficult. The bus station was a bit far and tiring, but upon arrival, all my fatigue disappeared.

the location is not that far but also not that close to the station, you need to walk approx. 7 mins from the station. the room is spacious compared to all of the hotel I stayed in Japan! Takayama is a small city tho, so I still enjoyed a night walk from the hotel to Takayama old town. cleanliness is just ok.

We deliberately chose this hotel because it has a private bath facility. It tends to be crowded at night. That's why we chose the morning before breakfast. Besides being cleaner, it feels more serene in the middle of the freezing winter morning air. The breakfast is also delicious. They have helped tag which foods are safe for Muslims.

Bagus, bersih, cuma jalan kaki lumayan dari JR station, sekitar 7-8 menit, tapi kalau sambil melihat pemandangan kota sih gak terasa. Breakfast enak, onsen gratis, ok deh sesuai dengan harganya.

I accidentally left something behind at the previous hotel in another city, the WAT hotel was very helpful by contacting the hotel concerned and helping to ensure that the items I left behind were sent via COD package to my next hotel.
