Very helpful staff for late check in

I recently stayed at Domus Nikolai and had a pleasant experience overall. Sara at the front desk was incredibly helpful and made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, though a bit noisy at times, which might be an issue for light sleepers. The self-service breakfast was acceptable, offering a decent variety to start the day, though nothing extraordinary. If you’re looking for a conveniently located and reasonably priced place to stay, Domus Nikolai is a solid choice, especially with the excellent customer service provided by Sara.

The was very good. But there is no lift and the stairs are not comfortable, since it is a very old building Also it is 20 minutes walking from the main station.

Over priced low quality even to Italian standards

Staff was pleasant. Small communal area outside of rooms where they had coffee, microwave, fridge that was stocked with free breakfast items. Pretty awesome place. Our room was a bit annoying with a desk that was in front of the balcony doors that made it a bit cramped. Nice view of the train passing by from the balcony. Fairly quiet place. Bed was large and comfortable.

Staff went out of there way to help us, when we arrived late due to unforeseen delays.

Very helpful staff, kept our bike boxes for us while we went touring, good location and facilities.

Clean and spacious room with 2 balconies and facilities for making tea and coffee. Excellent hosts who looked after our bike boxes while we cycled around Puglia. Handy for the station.

It was difficult to communicate with the staff in English at the property, but it was ok for me. Room was clean, the site was near the station next to the Bari center station.

Everything was satisfactory. The one problem I had was they lock the doors at 12 PM. I had to hurry back from visiting Matera during the evening.
