This is a hidden gem. It's a charming old manor house with very comfortable rooms and lovely food. The staff can't do enough for you and are extremely helpful. It's set in its own grounds, completely hidden from the road with no noise apart from birdsong and the whispering of the trees.

Used this hotel before and will again.

Parking is a little way from the main house. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Room was absolutely silent, never heard a thing all night. Room was large, reasonably clean but maybe a little tired but all in all, well worth the cost and would definitely stay again

Unfortunately when we arrived we found that there was a wedding party there, so no evening meal or other facilities. Again, in the morning the breakfast staff seemed overwhelmed; no greeting, no offer of coffee/tea, and forgot that toast had been ordered. This said, the grounds are lovely, the room comfortable, clean, and quiet.

Room was nice nice bathroom over all good ,staff was very friendly and helpful the breakfast was ok the only thing in my opinion the menu was poor for you evening meals

In a lovely historic building set within pleasant grounds, especially as the wisteria was in flower. Very helpful staff, lovely room and comfortable bed. The breakfast was perhaps a little disappointing- dry basic with little choice of healthy cereal or cooked food if you are vegetarian. Overall very good though.

This is a beautiful hotel, set in lovely grounds. They have a fantastic chef- all the food was absolutely delicious. I am a vegetarian, and they had a good range on the menu for me. I stayed in a large executive room, with two lovely windows. The staff are exceptionally attentive and helpful. They set a desk up for me in my room. I have no complaints at all and will certainly return.

The location fir us was ideal. They are pet friendly. The breakfast was hit and delicious. And the staff, especially Angela, were warm and fruendly. The price was right too. Will stay there again.

Lovely building and rooms. Great breakfast. Perfect location for exploring Wiltshire and Cotswolds. Plenty of parking space. We have stayed several times and always been impressed.

Excellent on site parking facilities and whilst breakfast was delicious, it took a while to get. Team were very helpful and room was clean.

Lovely old property. Some updating needed but it was lovely to stay in such a grand property so more than made up for it. Staff friendly and food and surroundings excellent. Very quiet. Would definitely recommend.

From start to finish everything went perfectly, just had the one night of peace and quite. Hard to believe its less than 5 minutes away from the M4

Staff were lovely. It has been a beautiful house in its day a little tired in places. Nicely decorated with fairly spacious bedroom room and bathroom. Clean throughout and room service cleaned and replaced tea and coffee daily. Warm and comfortable suited us well for exploring Wiltshire

Everything about the hotel was clean and well organised. The thing that really set it apart was the professionalism and friendliness of ALL of the staff we met over the 8 days we stayed. The evening meal was perfect and plenty of it, really great value.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast delicious. The first night the bed was too firm for our liking so I informed the receptionist and our room was immediately changed without any fuss or trouble. Great location for exploring Marlborough. Devizes and Swindon.
