Cannot find the place. So bad.

Don't stay at this hostel. This hostel is only used for prostitution.

Very affordable compared to other hotel in TST. Staffs are accommodating and nice too. ❤.

First experience And the last time!-Nothing like the advertising picture at all.- The water heater doesn't work.-When I first stepped into the room I felt shocked. Because I found 2 cockroaches! And 1-2 more per day while I was here.-I can smell food like spices all the time even though all windows are closed.-air conditioner made very loud noise.-As I was washing my hair, the water stopped flowing.-Clogged water pipe.- You must manually add water to the toilet before flushing the toilet every time. Unable to flush the toilet immediately.-The sheets, pillowcases, and blankets looked very dirty, smelled, and were damp.-There is an additional cleaning fee of 15 % but there is not even garbage collected from the room.-The only good thing about this place is its location, which is near Mtr. And convenient to travel.

If you want to find comfort and everything is fine, don't go to this place, the management of Dhillon Hotels has 10 hotel names in Chungking and they are all the same bad, the rooms are smelly, the floors smell sour, the toilets are dirty, the service is bad, here they are looking for - looking for a mistake we were told to add a bigger room even though the room was the same as in the photo because it was late I had to be willing to pay an additional 600$ for 2 nights so I paid 1.5 per night per night, it's the same as you choose a real hotel, there are lots of them much more worthy than this Dhillon management hotel. What's the deposit for? Hairdryer, refrigerator, lights don't work, broken, no towels, don't ask, there's also no bathroom mat, believe me, not at this place. Except for those who don't mind the conditions I mentioned above. I moved to the building next to the Mirador building there, it's much better, more decent, clean, everything works, the price is cheaper than Dhillon management, 1.2 million, get 2 nights, everything is complete, no deposit, 2-4 people want to come in, even though their room is small, it's not a problem. and there are no additional costs👍.

When we checked in, we were charged a cleaning fee amounting to HKD145 and a refundable deposit of HKD100. We already requested for three separate beds during our online booking, but we were given a room for two that is clearly not for 3 pax. We requested to be transferred and our new room was located on 17F, we had to take the lift to 16F and take the stairs to go to our room. The water in the faucet smelled like it had rust in it. The shower head was so small, it looked like a bidet. There were small cockroaches in the bed every time we went back to the hostel. Please shell out more money for your accommodation. I do not recommend Chungking Mansion. By the time you stepped in the building, the scent was unbearable, so I had to wear a triple mask. I also felt unsafe in that building. You might want to consider other places around TST.

Very nice hostel for it 's price. Livable and comfortable. This is hong kong. A top tier city, if you're expecting too much of what you paid, don't! Go to other hotel that 's 10x more expensive.

All guest rooms managed by Melbourne Hostels are nice and affordable! Very cheap compared to other hostels throughout Hong Kong. Staff are nice too, including Miss KC who's also very accommodating. I will always choose to stay here.

The only great thing at chungking mansions is the location and affordability especially for us Filipinos who are on a tight budget. But the room it was not very spacious, the CR is very limited and has no garbage can with presebce of cockroaches. The groundfloor of the chungking mansions seems like a ghetto area. I would recommend a total renovation of the chubgking mansions and separate the stalls like eatery and market from the hostels.

The room boy was cheating on me, I check out at 4 am and he ask me to check. Out by 11 am, I should can stay till 4pm. He said have another guest will come by 11 am, why? Is. That only for 7hr rent? The rule is should 24hr. Please for the manager tell him to not cheat to costumer his name jhony/shabir I guess. Thanks.

The room is really small, no toothbrush, soap towels, many amenities are not there.

Our stay at Melbourne hostel turned out great. Everything was awesome from the staff to the overall place, except for the following: 1. We were surprised that there’s an additional service charge per room on top of what we paid for already. 2. The aircon took so long to cool. Good thing there’s a wallfan in our room. 3. The elevator is too small and very slow which is understandable considering how old is the hostel. There are also few good things that I would like to point out: 1. The staff were great and very accommodating 2. The location of our place is perfect and we were able to easily access the MTR, fast food chains, bus stations. 3. You can even request to the staff for breakfast and dinner and they offer it at a cheap price. I recommend you do this since the cost of food in HK is very expensive. Overall, our experience in Melbourne hostel was very good.

Not bad, the room was clean, yes, it was only narrow and it was still confusing for the location of the room because there was no location indication, the room was inside the door.

The name plate for the accommodation is not named. Melbourne Hostel appears in the board below the elevator. Which makes finding accommodation as inconvenient as it should be It takes longer to find accommodation. The lift is small, packed with people. Having to queue up for a long time to get up to rest. Wi-Fi doesn't see any strength at all. Use your own internet to be more sensitive. The room does not collect sound, hear the sound of the person beside the room. The receptionist, the big guy, didn't say anything at all. And most importantly, booking a room for 1 room, but when it comes to finding that there are four reservations Which means four rooms Causing the need to pay service charge 15%, another three rooms added by the reason The hotel did not know what to throw. Talk to the agency itself. When checking-out, the card was not returned because we had returned to the male employee who had taken the room from the first day. The receptionist will not return the deposit for the card. I feel like taking advantage of everything. The way up is scary.

Very helpful staff. They gave my mom early check in on the first day and free luggage storage on the last day, it was awesome. I was the translator for my mom (she spoke minimum English) so the staff explained it to me through whatsapp call. She helped my mom a lot even though it's a little bit difficult to find the place in the first place. Chunking Mansion had a bad reputation, but it's in the perfect location, the Airport bus was right in front of it. Overall it's a pleasant and safe place for my mom because many good people tried to help her there from the first time she arrived there. So you can trust and try this one
