Very reasonable accommodation on the outskirts of Chamonix, walkable in about 20 minutes, right by the bus stop for skiing! Staff were very very helpful! Will return

The location of Hotel des lacs is perfect for someone who wants to be in Chamonix for UTMB because downtown is only a short walk giving easy access to race activities and restaurants. The Hotel is located across the street from a beautiful park with a little lake. Our room was clean quiet and simple. Breakfast was available for a small additional charge. The staff was friendly and helpful. We felt at home.

Phenomenal stay! Staff was amazing and helpful, the location was just outside Chamonix with an amazing walk into the City Center. I would 100% stay again!

Very small room and bed. Also, small bath and shower. No tea or coffee in the room. No real lake in front as name suggests. Only a small pond.

Lovely room in a timeless hotel in an amazing location. Great breakfast, helpful and accommodating - good food in restaurant 10 steps away too. Suitable location for a 35min walk to the L’Aguille du Midi.

We had a great time at the Hotel Les Lacs. The staff was superb and kind always in our requests. The room is simple, but comfortable and most important “warm”. The shower was deliciously hot. It’s really worth to take the breakfast, again simple but effective. Our room has a beautiful view to the Glacier, we never closed our curtains, during the night when we wake up, we just looked out to the Glacier reflecting the moon light, magical.

Nice cosy place. Room and bathroom were great, old building but comfortable. Though disappointed that there wasnt a kettle for tea, nor shampoo and bodywash!

Nice views of Mont Blanc, shower curtains smell like urine and the pillows were uncomfortable, but a good experience for sure

Fajny hotel w fajnej lokalizacji. Pokój z widokiem na góry. Ciepło i bardzo wygodne łóżka. Miła obsługa. Darmowe bilety na autobus. Same pozytywy. Polecam i sama mam ochotę tam jeszcze kiedyś wrócić 👌👌

Great location right on the bus line and very cozy accommodations. Room was clean and had a nice view of the valley. Good value for the money. The only thing I was lacking was shampoo and conditioner, but to be expected of a 2 star property.

Overall very pleased. Simple but clean and spacious for France. Good value and would go back

The host was very warm and welcoming. It was nice to have a room that fit our family (2 adults, 3 kids), and was reasonably priced. Chamonix is so lovely!

Excelente location! And very nice staff

Perfect spot at the end of our Haute Route trip. We were offered ski storage and the room overlooked the most beautiful view of the valley. Close bus stop and easy access to town and climbing and trails!

Clean and friendly. No frills but didn’t expect any. Good parking. Lots of hot water.

This little hotel is about 15-20mins walk from town centre, half an hourly bus services could take you to the slopes easily. The ladies who work there are all very friendly and helpful, though the room is small and basic, but adequate. Continental style breakfast is served for 9.50Euros, this is regarded as cheap given the price in Chamonix itself (supermarket price is twice as much compare to other places in France). Overall we had a lovely stay :)

Good free bus service into Chamonix. Not a huge room, but veyr clean and comfortable.
