Would have welcomed coffee /tea making facilities in room

I don’t really understand how this hotel is rated fabulous as there’s nothing fabulous about the hotel itself. The building and furniture inside are old and out of date, the rooms have no charm, the service is not good. Some examples are: they only gave us shampoo and soap the first day, the consecutive days we asked for a refill and they said that it was complimentary only on arrival, they didn’t empty the bin in the bathroom (it was full) and had to take it down myself, they don’t provide baby cot, the cafe they have is only open for about 3 hours a day split in morning and evening. They provide no kettle or small coffee machine in the room. In addition, the owners seem like they’re doing you a favour for allowing you to stay there. I’ve travelled a lot in my life and I’ve received better treatment and service in hostels so I’m not sure why it even has 3 stars. The only good thing about it is the location. I wouldn’t go back.

This was an oasis in the Pyrenees. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location was excellent and within walking distance to anything in town one would want to do. Breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious, clean with a picturesque view on the street. The owners of the hotel have (unlike a fair amount of hotels in the Pyrenees we have visited) taken the time and effort to modernize the hotel with updates in elevators, WiFi, furniture and fixtures. The entire staff bent over backwards to make our stay one to remember. We speak French, but the staff is limited in this regard to some degree. I am sure that in the grand scheme of things this would not be much of an issue as they could certainly make due. The hike from Pont D'Espangne to the Lac de Gaube was wonderful and easily accessible from the hotels location. We drove to the parking, however the gondola access was within walking distance. There is no way to overstate how much I wish we would have known how nice this hotel was. We most certainly would have stayed much longer.

L’idéal serait que les petits déjeuners soient servis à partir de 7h30 et non 8h pour nous permettre d’éviter l’embouteillage des télécabines Un peu plus de gel douche /shampoing serait le bienvenu

Chambre correcte sans plus. Ménage impeccable. Très bon accueil

L’hôtelier ne voulait pas me donner les clés de ma chambre, car il voulait que je paye une deuxième fois ma chambre, alors que j’avais la preuve du paiement ! Déplorable… Au bout d’un moment , le fils du monsieur est venu heureusement débloquer la situation.

Hôtel charmant, bien situé, chambre propre agréable, sdb parfaite. Seul regret pas de bouilloire pour se préparer un café ou autre…. Je n’ai pris aucun repas ni déjeuner….

Cama cómoda, limpio y buena atención en recepción. Bien situado. Habitación quizá un poco estrecha.

Hôtel familial, très conforable. Très bon accueil. Petit déjeuner et dîner excellents. En plein centre de ville, et à 2 pas des remontées mécanique. Très calme.

Hotel propre et confortable idéal pour pas se prendre la tête. Et en prime les (excellents) conseils de rando du patron ! suggestion : à la reservation, j'aurais été heureux d'avoir un conseil pour réserver un resto ou un repas à l'hotel. En effet à cette période de l'année les restos ne sont pas ouverts et c'est impossible de diner si on n'a pas reservé. Ce sera pour la prochaine fois :)

Hôtel familial au charme un peu désuet idéalement situé près de tout au centre de Cauterets. Chambre pour 3 parfaite pour un court séjour, literie confortable et calme absolu. Salle de bains un peu petite, et serviettes de bain très très reches, donc apporter vos serviettes si vous aimez la douceur. Petit déj correct sans plus, salé et sucré à volonté mais produits peu qualitatifs, le tout pour 10€. Patrons très sympas. Une bonne adresse que je recommande

On était au 4ème étage, dans le couloir c'était dangereux comme des poutres, plusieurs personnes se sont fait mal à la tête. Pas d'ascenseur du 3ème au 4ème et il est très petit. L'hôtel est dans son jus. La literie était horrible on a tous des Courbatures -Points positif, l'accueil et l'emplacement

Hôtel très bien placé dans Cauterets Tarif excessif au vue des prestations médiocres (petit déjeuner qualité de la chambre, insonorisation)

Chambre confortable, personnel aux petits soins . Visiblement des efforts pour entretenir aux mieux l'hotel (ascenseur neuf, moquette neuve, ... ) . Le sourire et l'amabilité de la patronne sont un vrai plus.

Hôtel calme, chambre propre et spacieuse, salle de bains pratique. Extérieurs agréables. Hôtel très bien situé en centre-ville. Personnel très accueillant. Petit déjeuner copieux et possibilité de restauration sur place.
